New Immortal Event = Mythical Soul Fragments?

So, Sparton said a few weeks back that the awesome Immortal Event will be back, in some form this year.

There are Mythical Soul Fragments available for purchase in the store.

Could this be a sign?

oh please we need another immortal event, but only with eddie souls like the previous time, with the mythical souls and with my luck I would hate to get the same pharaoh dog king again and again. a different event for mythical souls fragments will be great.

Pharaoh dog king is one I have wanted since I started and never seen. It was in one of the demo pics that got me initially interested in the game. I still hope to get that character eventually.

Really? This shows that the RNG is a bitch sometimes, I have obtained that character so many times that I lost the account. I hope that one day you get it.

Yeah, I've gotten Pharaoh Dog King at least 6 times now. I have two extras just sitting in my roster for the next sac event. Great toon, but I don't need 6.

Whether it's mythical or Immortal souls, I'd be fine with having an event for either one. If I had to choose I'd obviously pick Immortal souls though. Hopefully they'll be available in the Lord of Light dungeons like they were last time and not locked behind a low drop rate in BNW.

Guaranteed drops would be something I'm okay with. I'm just having flashbacks of the Hallowed event. And the Kari event.

I think this event would be better in LOL dungeons, because this is the best (maybe the only) way for many players to get the eddies they expect so much, maybe most of them do not have the resources to farm BNW in a Efficient way and simply could not participate, plus there are new players who come to the game just to get their favorite Eddie, even these could participate because Lord of Light is by far easier than BNW.
I know it's an event dedicated to the veteran players but in LOL dungeons a middle point is created to whom the event is dedicated, enabling the opportunity for the different levels of players, but all this is only from my point of view obiously.
BNW also does not have a very nice past with the events.
