In an effort to estimate Lilith drop rates, please post your results to this thread. The more posts we get, the more accurate the drop rate estimate will be. It's essential that we each post ALL drop results, not just lucky or unlucky drops.

Every time you redeem a soul, post your results here. No need to keep a cumulative total.

I will do my best during the event to provide cumulative summaries based on the data you all provide here.

PLEASE limit your posts here to factual drop data only. Feelings about your specific drops or drop rates in general are important, but please put them in the update or event discussion threads. It will be easiest to use this thread for drop rate estimates if it is limited to data only.

I'll provide my results to date in the next post. Please copy my format in your posts. Thanks!

UPDATE - SUMMARY OF DROP DATA:

The summary reported below is based ONLY on drop data posted in this thread prior to March 8 at 2pm pacific time. Some of the data posted in this thread was difficult to interpret, as some players appear to have double counted some of their drops across multiple posts. But, I attempted to control for that as best as possible. Also, slauki and Mariner independently verified my results.

Note again that this summary is based ONLY on data reported here. So, any inaccuracies in this thread's posts will affect the accuracy of the summary results. In addition, it's possible that the posts in this thread are not fully representative of the drop rates that the entire player population has experienced. For instance, if players who land Lilith are less likely to post here, then the summary results shown will be lower than actual drop rates.

TOTAL: 14 Lilith from 835 Souls (1.68%)

Given the large sample size we have at this point, I won't be providing any future updates. Thanks to everyone who provided their results here!

It could of course be my imagination only, but for event souls up to before the Edward the Great event, whenever I bought a 6/9/10 pack or won them there was something worthwhile or sometimes even an event character.
Since then, almost nothing, the number of 4* I can count on one hand. NO 5* since then. Maybe the drop rates were still too high...

Looks like Lilith won't be available through normal souls after this event, but probably some kind of some special soul similar to the eternal and trooper souls.

I have not bought or opened any as yet - this is a great thread and this is exactly what we should know as a matter of course for each of these events that we are now getting. If this is the win rate then I can see many of us just not bothering with ironite spends - I am by nature not much of a gambler though to me I think that it is our choice to use or not use free or paid for ironite. Not sure how much ironite I have actually bought but not a lot so I am not sure if this really is gambling or not - either way we should know what the odds are - or better still if we knew that buying say 20 would guarnatee a character (or some other number but a known number). Maybe a soul where you know the odds and where you get a chance at the character (known) but also some coins which add up to a point where you get a guaranteed character (like frontier coins).

I think 1% or around there is way too low for this kind of event - 10% is better. I mean I am able to farm all day so not a bother to me doing this kind of event but stil lothers are giving up a lot of time to try to get as many 'free' light souls as they can from the event - that takes time/effort and time is money (or this is they way I see it).

Either way transparency should always be to the fore. This helps to build a relationship I think and the devs, to be fair to them, do get inolved with us on this forum and also tell us what is coming up which you dont always get a lot of in other mobile games - well not the ones I play anyway.

Well.... That's RNG, you don't have to spend money to make ironite but if you do, that's alot of games right there. A very low chance of getting something you really want and I high chance of getting shit. You can only win by either sheer luck or by having a humongous wallet. I am strictly f2p in every game unless there's a subscription item like the ironite sub. Then I'll get that just for a cheap daily boost. Anyways I saved about 2500 ironite over the last month just by not spending it and I bought 20 light souls and I thank RNjesus that she came to me in a Sentinel form.

However, looking at how few people are actually getting her, I have to agree that with everyone else showing the odds, LotB really should as well. But it's not like knowing the odds would change them. It would just make people feel less inclined to play. And if people don't want to play, that hurts the game, and the less money the developers make, the less our game will be able to improve, therefore the updates wouldn't come as often and wouldn't have as much.

All in all, if you saw the odds and they were 1.5%, would you try anyways knowing that you've won before? I would, simply because of how much ironite you can get for free just by playing the game.

Don't forget the next event is allegedly about ironite, so we could be getting alot of it.

There are hardly any updates on this game. What you mean is bugfixes or unnecessary nerfs and the game is not as broken as before but the progress of new content is ridiculous. I'm not financing bugfixes because some of the long standing really annoying bugs are still in the game. It's pathetic and on top of that you as a player gets punished to support this fraud.

Thought I would share something from a chat in discord. It's information from Transformers: Forged to Fight on drop rates. Hopefully the guys from there don't mind me sharing this. The hope is that this gives people an idea of what drop-rates are in a game that uses this method for getting new characters. While it would be nice for NF to post some actual numbers as Amarthir stated it won't change the odds being what they are.

The explanation on the odds in F2F is only somewhat correct, maybe they missed something in statistics. The algorithm of the RNG also plays a factor, but won't go into that. The real odds change as the number increases. For the sake of argument, let's say you have a 2% chance to pull Lilith. The easiest way to calculate the statistical odds based on number of souls is using the reverse approach. You have a 98% chance to not pull her. So the formula would be

(odds to not pull Lilith) = .98(# of souls) x 100

Just subtract that from 100 to get your odds to pull her. You can see this page (https://www.mathsisfun.com/data/probability-events-independent.html) for a simple explanation of how to calculate it.

That's really interesting what I just found: Apparently Apple has set new rules that the odds of the so called loot boxes have to be disclosed -> reports Polygon (https://www.polygon.com/2017/12/21/16805392/loot-box-odds-rules-apple-app-store).

I only have an Android device but can somebody with an iPhone or an iPad check if Nodding Fraud does this? If not - where could we file a complaint about it?

Good job, it’s nice to see people are still around to hold these devs up to proper gaming standards. Seems most people have their faces too far up NFs buttcheeks and are blind nowadays. Doesnt surprise me there’s no info on this if they’re willing to let game breaking bugs like the gaining points on arena loss exploit that people know how to reproduce run rampant, while people constantly report it. Never seen a game operate like this in my life, it’s strange.

It's more than fair that I am told the chance I am having that something good is dropping. After knowing it's my decision. Right now the company tricks you into spending real money without you knowing how poor your chances are. Cashed in the 7 souls from the event missions. Surprise, surprise, no Lilith. 0 for 17 total for me, and they were all crap 3* dupes. Not a single 4 or 5 star. I'm starting to believe that the RNG favors the people that spend more.

I like this game, but in all honesty, I'm seriously thinking about doing the same, whats the fun on having new characters, when, well, you don't actually have then, and the odds are so low that you won't have in a near future either.

Ended up 0/17 with 2 4* dupes. I’m done with it. Have the ironite stash but not wasting any more of it.

I’m not a fan of these type events with special soul toons that don’t also drop from their respective class souls. The 1% drop rate compounds the problem.

I’m sure it’s a huge cash cow though.

Got all souls from the cosmos battles. Got one Gunner Lilith. The rest were three or four star toons. I hate these kinds of events as well. The introduction of relics I like...mostly. They need to stay out of PvP. But the mere fact they were added tells me the Gauntlet and/or Night City is on the horizon.

I was pretty set on quitting this game for a second time if I didn't get a Lilith. Mainly because it took SOOO MUCH F***IN time to play! I can't keep putting in hours and hours and hours into these events only to get nothing. Hell, I can't keep putting in this kind of time in these events even if I DO get the toons. NF needs to release new content. That's what will keep players. Not these events that gives us toons for no real purpose. I know they are working on it, but damn, this is taking a long time and I'm getting bored.

In my personal opinion, I don't get too bothered if I don't get a toon right away. RNG sucks, but it sucks everywhere. If we all got the toons we wanted with ever souls cashed in, we'd have stopped playing this game within months of it's release. All in all this is one of my favorite mobile games, and not just cause I am a Maiden fan. It'a actually done pretty damn well. You want a sh*t game with sh*t RNG, play Knights and Dragons. Eff that game to oblivion. They literally have clans set up to work together to ALWAYS be the top players whom ALWAYS get the best rewards.

Anyway, I ranted a little bit. NF, good job overall on this game, but hurry up with Night City, and don't take as long when releasing the next story line chapter. We don't play this game for the events, as nice as they are. We play it because with every update, we are hoping for Night City and Silent Planet!

Opened 11 more light souls before the event ended. No Liliths, got 10 3* and a dupe 5* Pharoah Dog King. Total: 38 Light souls - no Liliths. It's going to take a while to get one, but it's good that they are available with FC.
