Twitter (https://twitter.com/ironmaidenlotb) and FB have posted a small teaser video of what may be coming next.
And i don't assume it's a teaser for april, rather then a teaser for the "up the irons" PVP event.
From the looks, the animation looks like a Special/Finisher/Fury animation.
What do we have? A set of amps, a guitar being picked up by whoever who seems to have red arms and played.
Well the riff being played is the bass-solo from the song "iron maiden" (which would fit the "up the irons" theme.)
The guitar is the slassic strat, which was also played in the early days.
So i guess either a new character with a finisher or a new eddie. (i hope for a new eddie, it's been a while since we last had one.

well, that's an interesting artwork. Though you can never compare or pre-determine an eddy by an artwork (i only say hallowed eddie), but this one seems like an altered version of the 7th Son Eddie. (as it's seemingly from that tour)
i think, there are plenty of other "eddie with guitar" artworks out there (mostly the tour-posters)
Arena-Reset is in 10 hours, so we'll just have to wait a little time.
Well, i just checked a good maiden Artwork site and it seems, there are only a few eddies left. (as most tours spot a similar eddie as on the cd they're touring, (cyborg-eddie from all "Somewhere in time"-Promos and singles) but that does not mean an eddie from a single or tour-artwork can be used (tailgunner, samurai).
So as i checked "only" the early eddies are missing (from the early tours and beginnings up to killers - ok, killers will be coming) and some other live variants (a real live/dead one, maiden england, live after death) are also possible and i don't expect a number of the beast eddie, as he would be too similar to the run to the hills eddie. So i'm pinching the theory of an eddie based on either the iron maiden/early tours (pre-killers-eddie) or a a real live/dead one-Eddie
Could be... Fear of the Dark Live

Good point Yup. That guitar looks almost bang on. Was hoping for Live after Death, but I'm up for any cool new Eddie.

So what do we expect to see out of "Rockstar" Eddie? Is the the 4* Assassin we never knew we needed?
From studying the video, the shape of the head really looks like the Eddie that Odoylerules posted above.

Except in that FotD Live art is a bass. Steve Harris Eddie? :p
Well there's no shame in slappin-da-bass :) But your'e right, the video kind of looks like a standard Fender Statocaster... don't know if the IM boys ever used those. I think Jackson, Ibanez, and Gibson were more popular.
I'm just guessing. That was the closest I could think of. i think it may be closer than the seventh tour of a seventh son.
Still would like Piece of Mind Eddie though... can just imagine the fury spinning chains from the neck harness and hitting enemies...

Dave used a Strat in the old days. I think he still does at times. Haven't followed that close in the later years. Adrian uses a super Strat (so to speak) that is a Jackson. It does look SS related though.
