Hey man - we're all in the same boat ;). It's been discussed here many times. Is it annoying to see the same person attacking you over and over? Of course. Is it taken personally? Not at all - because the same names come up over and over on the list - and then with that list - there's only certain people it makes sense to attack. Yes, you feel like a dick, but unfortunately it's how they have it set right now.Quote:

I haven't read all the posts on here but lots of people complaining about whoever goes first wins. Well before it started I was thinking about how it might work. I was hoping it would be just like a regular level. 3 sets of 3 or 4 enemies. Or even 5 waves of enemies. So possible solutions could be:
1.every other attck : One of your offense goes , just one guy attack then one guy on defense attacks , back and forth. Then the strategy could be different, idk if it'll be more fair.
2. A whole level : just like the reg game go first kill 4 enemies, then round 2 kill 4 more , then get to the Boss round and take on Eddie.
So it's alittle more about endurance.
I'm sure someone else said something about this, but why have a hundred 5 star guys and only use 4 or 8 of em? This is a game let's have some fun. There should be more then one pvp mode! All Eddies mode , 4 Eds vs 4 Eds , oh hell yes please. Also I want WAR !!! That's right my team vs Nickos team, 100 v 100 ! Let's go . It'll cost 1,000 sands of war and take 2 hours , but just think of the carnage. Get one of your guys killed then just bring one of the bench till you kill em all. Ok maybe that's for a LOTB 2 but let's explore all fun options.
Totally agree with you, but your project is something of really huge contents, s gonna take so much time to develop it and its must to be considered also HD space for add these differents and like I said before, amazing features. Btw that's a good tip for furthers ideas for this game.Quote:

Hey Sparton, tell if it's fine to lose two battles, one against guy with just 20 points more than me, and the other 600 moreand to lose 19 points in both games... All that system is still messed up, this is just a last example...
There's a flaw with the point calculation where if you lose to someone with way more points than you, you'll lose closer to baseline points instead of less than baseline points. We'll have a fix for the next app store release.Quote:

Sadly, a lot of these require another app store release, but we are queuing up many fixes for those things (and other problems) for said client release. We hope to release our next one towards the end of the month.Quote:

It's been mentioned that when you refresh you keep getting the same opponents over and over. Not only is this boring, it leads to an endless, frustrating loop of revenge that doesn't let you advance well (unless you have the prisoner of course and can rack up defensive wins).
This is the final day of this PVP cycle and look how many in the top 25 are struggling to achieve the required trophies to match the league of their rank. Despite using ironite I'm rank 14 right now and struggling to hang on to 2300. Especially when you want to do other stuff on a Saturday, this is not fun,
I know it's beta, but this should be fixed ASAP.

Totally and desperately agree with Billion, it's almost impossible get on the fastidious and terrible loop refresh list. I just beat Nicko team, earning nice pa and instantly I lost doubles cos a ppl attack me twice in a couple of minutes! It's human frustrating and lack of will to buy more ironites and play more matches! So basically the out of control random rng affecting also the arena, ofc!
Appreciate nicko adapted his team to fair arena criteria, nice one boss!
Congratulations to the LotB team for allowing multiple attacks from the same mofos 1 month now, and to all the mofos for abusing it. Well done.

Just to finish today with 1300 points, people attacking me non-stop and I can't even revenge back. Good job, I'm done.

I would like to make some comments, especially regarding this last week of pvp.
I am extremely disappointed with the direction this pvp is taking for the reasons below:
1 - Many players took advantage of broken teams for a long time (at least Nicko changed his team and let it more competitive and fair);
2 - The points system is a complete garbage, you get sweaty points against broken teams and go to sleep, when you return to see already lost 3x the amount won;
3 - I'm tired of always seeing the same names on the attack list;
4 - Of course how unbalanced is the Prisoner, if you do not have him forget to be able to rise in the ranking and to win of just teams (not to mention broken ones);
5 - The question of luck in this pvp is completely ridiculous, against fair teams, if you attack before you have more chances to win and here is the problem: in the last 60 attacks I calculated the amount of times I started and they were ONLY 12 !!!
The fun of this pvp was already ending, I really did not have any fun this last week at all ...
List of broken heroes:
- The prisoner;
- Angel of Pain and Angel of Strife (ridiculous damage able to almost hit kill any full toon)
- Assassin Golden Son (ridiculous damage and idiot talis procs) - Why do I need to Corrup General if you can stun with all that damage?
I am extremely disappointed with pvp and hope that I can come back to have fun with this game when they launch Night City and Brave New World because I can not have fun anymore.
...Nous prisoner not competitive, ain't I've just seen 2 out of 5 players in the top 5 alone without one, seems some find a way to be competitive without him!
Hey, I play pvp for a little time and don't understand a few things, like, how the hell some people (aka PizzaFriday, Sag, Nicko, etc) can get like +2k poins two hours after reset? oO Wining most of my sot I cant get any close to this...
And about my feedback so far, I think some characters are way too unbalanced, some combinations of character + runes are too overpowered. Funny thing, I won two times against bradata in matches that he goes first and my only toon left alive was an yellow gs + freeze/invisible talisman, I just felt bad for him! I think multiple hit attacks didn't need to trigger the passive multiple times, is too broken for pvp! Just like the Prisioner's passive, wtf is that -.-'
Other thing, I think the worst thing at all is to manage having a team specificly for defence, lose so many poins because the IA is such an bad thing! Its so expansive create a team with characters with some perfect trigger + freeze + immunity just because IA cant hit a single perfect hit x.x Maybe lose half (even less) points when you lose a IA fight would be great! Yestarday I want to sleep in position ~#40, I woke up and I was +#100 -.-' hate that.
And that refill of sands of time is such an unecessary thing, I put no money on this game, and I like to save my ironites for talismans packs, that feature just creates an unfair ranking boost, it looks like a pay to win game, not cool.

4) Dont agree fully with this, though I respect your opinion. While I think the Prisoner is a great asset, he's not indispensable. Bradata, GMAC, and Marcio were very competitive - and none of them have Prisoners
5) I did a mini-count today. In 12 turns I went first 3 times. This evening I went first a few more; it definitely gives an advantage going first but they say it's all random. I still wonder though if something weights it...Party Cost? Certain characters? Rank? Win-loss history? Probably none of the above - I'm taking the developers at their word - but going second is something I've almost come to expect
It just seems there are some small changes - the point system, the attack list, and the broken Talismans - that would make a HUGE difference in most people's PvP experience. The complaints about these three issues are virtually universal. It would be very reassuring to hear an acknowledgement from the developers that they're very on top of these issues and a fix is imminent.

Are the devs all on vacation? I didn't even bother trying last week. Used no ironite all week. Ended up with the same amount of points Saturday morning that I started with last weekend. It's pointless. Sure I could have spent 100-200 ironite to get back up there, but I decided to go enjoy the nice weather instead.

Some nice addition of BS today, like the rest wasn't enough....Had to forceclose the game 2 times already vs shaolinlondon and pizza in similar situations where the match was 99% over. Everything froze PVE style....

I don't have the time to catch Pizza Friday - cause top spot is the only Legendary soul - and the same people appear over and over on my attack list, so I'm going to chill a bit this week. I don't see it as a total waste playing a lot because the Iron coins are adding up, but at this point can't spend even a fraction of what I'm getting.
I just refreshed my attack list to almost the exact same names - and that prompted a spontaneous decision. I'm going to limit attacks to one-ish per day on people and of course revenge anyone who attacks me ;). As long as I'm above #25 all should be fine. I don't want to attack the same people repeatedly with infinite revenge.
Hopefully the developers will pipe in and let us know how they're addressing this.

Yeah, I've been diving deep into the arcana that is the matchmaking code with one of the programmers to see what we can improve without just waiting for the larger pool at worldwide, and I have some ideas for why some people see repeat names; there's definitely some rules in the matchmaking which try to stop people from getting repeatedly attacked that's probably not doing what's intended (ironically), so it's on the list of things we'll be tweaking with our next update to help improve the situation.Quote:
