Well, he crossed the Rubikon with the XIII. Legion, calles hinself out to be consul for lifetime and he nearly terminated the Roman republic. He was actually the one who terminated it, after him the Roman empire started (Augustus as princeps etc).
He wasnt really betrayed only by Brutus, but by rhe whole senat and was killes with 26 stabs I think... When he went to the senate meeting.
