agree with those recommending Angel of Fear, his accuracy lowering attack really helps in that 8 times out of 10 the boss doesn't take all your beneficial effects. Not to mention his passive ability which reduces the boss's invincibility to just 1 turn! This character was certainly built for this guy.
you are talking about the blue the angel of pain :-) angel of fear is a warrior char.

To beat this and any other just use a purple golden son with inmortaly you cant die, and use something like wickerman go get energy if they stealth your buff just cast again, just need kill the minions of lord of light in the first rounds after that just spam inmortality and beat it the fight can turn longer but you will beat him, just get two good dps (axis general and other) and dont use and autocast buffer like allied soldier because it will be even longer fight, also might work with a stheal energy allie, the fury dont matter just use inmortality
