No man, everyone out here is far beyond nuts! This has been dumb for too long.

With legendary souls we are just certain to get a 4* character minimum.
Seriously those souls are the most frustrating souls in the game because they are (were) very rare so we have to much expectations about them!
This is a little better now because we can buy 1/month thanks to the arena shop...
From my experience i never got a good character from a LS (from a dupe soldier eddie when i finished the game to dupes AoF and green GS from my last ones)
All my premium characters came from normal standard or G/A souls... just need time, luck and some ironite savings!

I've been sitting on a Legendary since December. I'm afraid to cash it in and fall prey to the RNG gods! I envy those that have a Red Troll, Prisoner, Wicker Man and Corrupt General, but I can't justify spending badges on souls just to get bent over by the RNG gods. I'll wait for "sacrifice" if it ever comes to pass. Until then I'll be hoarding 3* souls and cashing in my 1* Corrupt Ox, Owl, Dye, Rockets and assorted dogs... to sell.

Well 2 out of 4 isn't bad I guess. I have 2 War Trolls and the Wicker Man. Not to handy when you go up against the Prisoner/CG combo though. Would much more prefer a CG myself. I have a Lengendary and a few rare souls that are hanging out in the BoS too. Same reason. Waiting for sacrifice. Tired of spending hundreds of thousands of gold coins to expand character inventory just for more dupes.

On the other hand, my last 3 lengendary souls have been non dupe chars, the Death Dog being the best of the bunch. I'll make him my champ after he's fully maxed so my troopers that don't have him can see the crazy damage he's capable of dealing.

... I gave up on souls. ANY souls. Well I still Play Dark Souls... But that's another game XD

Ever since I started back in July I can honestly say I've been furious over every legendary soul I've cashed in. I think the only reasons I keep playing is because I feel a responsibility to all of my loyal troopers and want to help them as much as I can. I have so many 3* evo shards but not one more toon that I feel is deserving of being evolved to a 5. I wish the game could return to something that I truly enjoyed doing and not something that I feel obligated to do. Part of my dilemma is that I've invested so much time into this game that I find it hard to let go. The hope that things will change and it will become an interesting game again has me perplexed. At what point do you "Cut bait" and just move along without looking back.

Promises... promises... and maybe someday the game will once again live up to my expectations... Who knows??? Nobody... Not even the Devs...

With the state of the game right now it would actually be more rewarding if you could choose to spend 4 hours out of your day playing or 30 minutes. The time it takes to use all your troopers and complete all the daily tasks is more than excessive. The fact that the inventory system has never been properly fixed is also an issue that I and many others have raised in the past. When you are spending the time grinding and then have to spend more time selling off runes, shards and characters, it just makes me tilt my head and squint while uttering something profane. The fact that I still have the same phone is a testament to how much better I have become and controlling my temper. :-) I'd love to see a survey about how many phones have been broken due to frustration with the bugs and poor RNGuess statistics.

Which brings up another thought... I know how RNG works, but with this game it really doesn't seem to be the case. I see so many people with the same complaints about duplicate characters. And the duplicate characters I get are all different from theirs. I have yet to get a PDK and yet I see people who have 5 of them. I also saw someone the other day in Arena who had two Prisoners!! How can this be possible if it truly is Random? I know some people are more lucky than others but someone with two extremely rare prisoners???

Ok... This is why I don't post very often. This was intended to be in response to another post and it quickly escalated into a long and drawn out rant, so I'll just copy it and put it in a new thread.

Sorry, but my frustration level is high with this daily time suck and suppose I just needed to vent. Thanks to all my loyal troopers and I'll keep sending badges your way as long as I can. But the amount of time required to play and stay relevant needs a remedy.

Just my to cents or tree fitty...

Now that I've got all my troopers taken care of for the day I suppose I'll go work on cleaning out the garage or playing one of my guitars in the music room... I have about 7 hours before the cycle starts again... :D

about the game being time sucking.... i agree. i'm still in school and it's really hard for me to play all troops, but i still do. come home boot the game up while i make (way too much) homework. i'm also a pretty passionate pc gamer, so i constantly look at 2 screens at a time, 1 screen with a pc game, and 1 with the legacy :p to use all my troopers, i have always been up till 1 am, constantly getting only 5 hours of sleep. not saying that's the legacy's fault, it's just one of my shitty ideals to use all troops. and about the rng.....it's been like... 82? 82 days since the release of viking eddie, i have opened 1 sentinel and 1 rare soul everyday, somtimes more, sometimes less, but still everyday! no viking.
still love the gale but jeez <3

I don't know how you'd do it with school and homework!! I've been working from home for the past few months while they do renovations to our office, so I can generally balance my time and run the game on auto throughout the day and just look down at my phone every few minutes or so to move on to the next trooper. Sadly yesterday was a crazy busy day at work and I was unable to use all my troopers. In fact many trooper badges were lost. When I finally had some time to play, I only had 30 minutes until the reset and it wasn't nearly enough. I'm starting to think I may need to take a break from the game until they come up with a solution. I don't want my troopers to suffer because I don't have time to send badges their way. We've got some projects coming up at work and unless I can teach one of my dogs to play for me while I'm busy, I fear there will be more missed badges. I'm not going to be upset if my troopers replace me with someone who can be a guaranteed "Daily player", but I just know that I'm not going to be as dependable as I've been in the past. I'll do my best to use all troopers, but it weighs in the back of my mind when I can't. I don't want to be a "One way trooper" Hopefully the Devs offer a solution soon. I still love the game and I don't mind the grind so much when I have time to kill, but all the hours out of the day to complete all responsibilities is just not a sustainable business model... lol. I love the game!! But I love my paycheck a whole lot more!! :D

actually i start to belive, that most longtime player suffer from the same problems.

- too much time needed to fulfill your "obligations"
- lack of new PVE content (boredom)
- still no sacrifice or BNW which was planned for november (WTF???)
- crappy characters sold als "legendary", alomg with a mediocre RNG (it's not really bad since most of us have really nice characters)
- many promises over and over for months, and very few real changes
- and many many more less pressing issues

this game is evolving, but it's evolving way too slow. every few months some changes is not enough to keep people playing.

only the most insane ones, like me and some fellow forum members and troopers can take such long streaks of boredom ;-)

most people, will quit after a while but some of us seem to have masochistic tendencies...

at the moment it's more a daily routine than enjoyment at all for me. the thing that would help me the most is an option to shorten the
time needed to fulfill every f'n obligation out there. and sacrifice to get some rewards out of the dupes and useless normal souls.


hmmm this also escalated into a mini rant, which wasn't intended, but seems that the same things frustrate many of us. and it's about time to improve them

Fully agree with Slauki, it's hard not to rant about the game when so many things, minor or major go unchecked or unfixed. My only hope is that my patience will hold out longer than the steady decline into insanity takes.

Slauki, you're one of the best contributors in the community. I respect what you have to say and thanks for all the help... that maxed character thread took a lot of work! Cheers to you and all who helped you out.
