Where's Night City??

Is this game now exclusively about the "Events"? Is actual development to further the non-event game even taking place?

Ok for the events and stuff, but i guess i'm not the only one who wants new freaking worlds to go through, with the storyline going on!

I'm not playing anymore for now indeed, i got bored

there is a structural problem is with night city...i'd love to see it but if they release it we will finish it in 2 hours and then we would need the silent planet soon.
no way we will get some longterm motivation with one or two new worlds per year, so i understand the focus on the arena and the events. hope the "new unannounced game mode" will be something more longterm oriented.

i'd love to see some kind of mini level stuff like the helloween FOTD event in 2016 more often. but they said it's technically hard to implement for some reasons...
this could spice up things a lot.

but what i'd love to see in the meantime is a new immortal event, where could farm for 5* eddies. that was the best event in history of the game for me.

Progress is still being made on the unannounced game mode, but it's taking more time than expected to get it up and running. Probably not a thing for this month.

I'm just wondering how NF expects players to stick around... I mean play or a month or two.. finish the story. .then all there is to do is PvP and level up toons... Acquiring the new character isn't really that challenging if you completed the story part of the game.... and PvP gets REALLY old and boring after a bit... Events, I'm sure, are great for steady revenue, but without further STORY development things would seemingly become dependent upon NEW players rather than retention of existing players.

I'd just like to see Night City... Secret Planet.. and a couple more rather then the surely looming "Valentine's Event". By now these events must be old hat for NF... just throw in a new character to existing code...

Can't say it any better, this is exactly how I feel. Been waiting for this iconic Eddie since September of 2016 back with my first account on this game. One of my favorite albums, and my favorite album artwork by far.

I haven't gotten any of the new Eddies, and frankly I'm now missing so many of them that trying to complete the collection seems futile ... but this one I need. 7th son, Cyborg and Pharaoh are my "childhood intro to Maiden" Eddies.

No one else going to make a guess on some of the other events? I mean 7th son is obvious with the artwork and 'the chosen one', some of the others a little less so.

We all want Night City but, as slauki pointed out, it will be a shortlived gain. The events, pvp and the unannounced game mode are the long term. Part of the event is trying to guess what's coming next.
