I just got want to say I am trying to test this triple Eda offense and I still say it is terrible. Allowing for the fact that I just may be terrible or it doesn’t match my play style, triple eda is just not good and nothing to worry about even if they do fix some of the glitches around then and the update to SOL Eddie. I much rather take any other offense I use then a triple eda team. I love to hear from anyone else who actually had three Eda’s to try this.
I'm pretty happy about mystic eddie, speed of flight eddie, and lazy azov getting a boost!

The power cost for meteor, comet and zone will be reduced to 8. Could you do the same to the quake and rage talis? I find the quake talis very interesting but with a power cost of 10, they’re almost useless. Wickerman Eddie has the same effect with a lot less power cost and he can raise power by himself.

While all of those talisman skills are similar, we felt that some of those were more viable than others. For the most part, people weren't using stuff like Comet, but were using things like Quake (with Quake being sometimes seen even by some defenses high up in the Arena leaderboard). That's why only some of the talisman power costs were adjusted.
While Wickerman Eddie's max level Erupt is similar to Quake, there's a pretty sizable gap in effect chance (which is especially important if you account for Accuracy Up).
Please include the mystic eddie in the fixes. The question concerns exactly the procs doom from the ult. At the time of the animation, targets under doom are killed, after the animation ends there are crazy figures of ture damage, but the targets is alive and with full health. Its model just lies on the floor and atack my team. So much battles on arena lose.
Uhm.. perhaps you don't see Comet, Lightning, Zone, Rage in arena wins because no one can get the whole freakin set of any of them!!!! :) Drop rates seem to be stupidly low. (posted with love)
Quake seems to be the easiest to come by.. so seeing it more in the arena comes as no shock.. heck as I posted.. I woke up with 12 extra Quake talismans at some point for no reason.
I've farmed GOD level X for roughly 400 runs now... Have picked up 4 comet.. and 2 lighting..... STILL don't have a full Lightning set..... many, many vampiric and a few Immortality. So they are there.. but come on.. is there some reason NF makes it take MONTHS to get even 1 set??
Level X should ONLY be dropping the super rare.. no vampire.. no immorality...and maybe even leave the Comet to level iX... but Level X of GOD should ONLY be dropping Lightning or Comet. .. Level X of GOF only Rage and Echo... Level X of GOL Only Zone and Quake. If you are going to make us work for it.. give us the rewards. I can not express how frustrating it is to see a Vampiric talisman drop in GOD Level X, or a Counter drop in GOF lvl X... or a Chance in GOL lvl X. Especially since only about 1 in 5-10 runs results in ANY talisman drop at all.
Heads up; there's a minor update that has recently gone live in both app stores. This doesn't include the tuning changes noted here, but just has some minor back-end fixes for stability.
It looks like there was a bug that was occurring before relating to Mystic Eddie's Time to Die, but it's happening in different scenarios than what we originally had found. We're looking into narrowing down the exact cases to see if we can get a fix in.

Well, they're still intended to be long-term goals to work towards, and these changes make them long term rewards that may have more practical uses (instead of just being trophies/keys to complete certain missions).
We actually changed it from only dropping the super rare talismans because more players found it was less rewarding to be grinding in lower floors for stuff like Vampiric, Guard, Strike, etc, when they could be grinding the higher floors. That way they can work towards slowly getting stuff like Rage while still occasionally getting stuff like Thorns, Explosive, Echo, etc (selling any ones they don't need more of directly from the loot popup at the end of the level).
Okay.. I'll begrudgingly accept that some players actually WANT the lower end talismans to drop at level X. I completely disagree with that.. but well.. ya can't please everyone.
The gist was... if you are altering power costs based on what you see in the arena.... well.. how many arena fighters actually have 4 rage, 4 zone, 4 lightning, etc talismans???
I have 1 rage, 1 zone, 3 lightning.... but then 8 Comet, 4 Meteor, and 16+ Quake
And of course... I hadn't loaded the game since today's rollover and when I did... I see increased talisman drops in BNW... okay.. never mind :)
Still getting MACLO errors in BNW when it tries to award you runes that will put you over 999. At some point in the past it split them at 999 and started new lists, but then like an idiot I used some from the 999 pile, and now it errors every time. I was stuck at 995 and had to sell off 200 3* and 4* red runes just to play tonight.
.. then again.. 11 runs through GOD Lvl X... 1 Endure talisman.. that's it.
If you say so... 5 more runs.. 1 more Endure..... 1 Life.. So yea maybe more often.. just not that last Lightning I want.
okay... finally got the lightning.. .. and definitely more drops.. moving on to the others now :)
This time i had good luck, get my last two Lightning in this event after 2-4 runs... before this i get my second lighting after weeks of farming...
but the rage talis where hard af to get, i got so many red runes which is great but it were hard times :D
I have a question about the language ingame.., i am from germany but i'm playing in english, but the news are in german, and the translations are horrible (understandable but horrible ^^' maybe like my english xD)..,
could you fix this that if you set the language in the settings that not only the game is in that language but the news too? this would be nice, every time i have to read it here again...

You're missing out Blade. I've completed my Lightning set and my Rage set since yesterday... but I realize you already have rage :)
Always lvl X here. All talismans can drop in level X. Not that they will.. but they can. If I only need Endure.. I might drop to level 7. Odds would be better to get Endure at level 7 since higher talismans don't drop at level 7.
Tap the REWARDS button on the dungeon screen.. it tells you what levels talismans drop from.
Finally I have been able to complete all three sets of ultra rare talis (rage, lightning & zone). Took me 379 BNW runs.😆

First of all, thank you for your quick response and I respect your decision.
But I have my doubts that people are using them in PVP defenses. I was in the top 50 for at least the last four or five weeks and never was confronted to quake talis. And when I check my troopers, where many of them are playing PVP in the higher ranks, I don’t see them. With all those PI in the arena, they’re almost useless, anyway. That’s a reason, why I don’t use my Wickerman Eddie in the attack teams so often. Speaking of him, his erupt when skilled has a 55% chance, which seemed to be higher in reality.
Anyway, let them as they are and I’ll wait for another update. I had saved explosive, thorn, cyclone and guard talismans in my inventory for almost a year, till they became precious.
Well they were dropping better.. but this afternoon I've ran 16 times (3 full SOT fills) and seen only 3 lower level talismans.
To be honest: I hope it is a machine translation!
Besides I play the game in English as well, but I remember that the Alliance General in the German translation dealt magic damage. Did that ever get amended to physical damage? Anyone playing the game in German and in possession of the Alliance General?

When i set the game in the options to english everything is fine ingame, but the whole news section is in german., every page. They aren't that horrible how i wrote (i mean my english isn't the best too. xD but here and there are some words that aren't translated that "good" in my opinion or spelling mistakes) but it is confusing if you play in english and the news are in german. I read them here again for better understanding. (and learning)
It would be great if i set the game to english the news section would be too, because it is easier to understand if you know all the talis descriptions, names and so on, but if i read the news for new characters or whatever in german it is a bit confusing..
I hope you do understand what i mean...
btw. your avatar the Sentinel Soulless Demon was my first best and most loved non eddie character when i started playing a year ago. :D

If you do notice any specific sentences or paragraphs with problems and can private message me the details, that'll help with ensuring we narrow down the exact problem for improving the quality of future news pages in German.
I believe that was incorrectly referred to magic damage in all languages at one point, but was corrected. If that's still incorrect (in any language), do let me know what language it's wrong in and we can flag that for retranslation.
Yeah, right now due to how the web pages for the news is set up, it gets your device language (instead of in-game language setting). I believe there's a task to instead use your in-game language choice, so I'll follow up with the team to see what the state of that task is.

Fun fact: when I first started playing after joining the team, the Sentinel Soulless Demon was the character I got from my first Legendary Soul (and one of my first characters above 3 stars). I originally wasn't much of a fan of him, but decided to give him a shot and try out some different talisman combinations... eventually settling on the Blind + Invisibility combo that helped carry me through most of the campaign and progressing through stuff like the Lord of Light and Brave New World when they came out. Sometimes you just don't know how good a character can be until you give it a chance to shine!
PI is fine. No matter what, people will find a loophole or exploit to have the "best" defense or offense. I personally don't see any issues with PI and don't have trouble facing people with it. But then again I don't do PvP more than once a day unless its an event.
But the main point is that when they change it, those same people will find another annoyingly stupid way to piss you off with an exploit.

Hey Sparton, quick question... When on autoplay, why can't it change eddies? The change eddie button goes red/yellow when his health is low, why doesn't it change to the other? Is this on your guys radar for future updates?
please don't ask for this dank. as they tried to implement this last time, the eddies changed in an unpredictible way, which made autofarming extremly annoying. you could suddenly be beaten in powerslave because the ai changed to a 4* without talismans. so it was not possible to level eddies anymore. they swiched it back pretty quick, thank god.
regardless what you do guys, please don't try this ever again. never ever please :) even the memory of this hurts and pisses me of :P

I only brought it up because my toons really really really love to completely avoid their skills and just wait to die. They are notoriously stupid, my entire roster. Bastards. Can hardly auto farm BNW GOF VII right now, and it's super freaking easy - it pisses me off.
slauki's (understandable) PTSD aside, yeah, there was a period where we tried to add "smart" swapping of Eddies on autoplay to swap an Eddie out if it got low health and though it could swap a stronger and/or class advantage Eddie in. However, it just didn't work reliably, so we reverted that functionality not long after.
If we were to pursue that again, we'd need to make sure we're a lot more strict to what would be considered an "acceptable" swap out (and/or provide some kind of functionality so that could be turned on or off), and since that can be extremely difficult to adjudicate for players of all kinds of player progression, we haven't gone back to that subject since the first attempt.
The current AI doesn't have a good sense of using skills in certain orders; it just picks a character to act, and that character does what it thinks is best in isolation (which sometimes leads to things like burning power on a non-healing skill when another character could have used a heal that turn). It's a general AI improvement we want to take some time to tackle, but primarily our focus is on fixing combat bugs over general AI improvements.
Here's a new one (for me)... Eddie wasn't allowed to scroll side to side for his other skills/attacks in PvP. Luckily for me it was a very easy opponent so it didn't make a difference. But still... Should be looked into. It was the battle that just happened Sparton.
