3 souls / 0 Lilith
1 4 * magus undead rescuer and 2 3* trash
0/5 1 4* dupe only
so 7 liliths form 525 souls so far?
10 souls, 1 Gunner Lilith.
22 Light souls, no Lilith
0/30 here 5x 4* dupes that's all...call me stupid, i fell for the gamble.
i really wonder why they don't release the odds :p i can tell you, noone would buy a single soul with these low droprates. not gonna complain, since this is their business model, but it's based on tricking the customer and keep him in the dark, which is a very questionable approach...
so total odds seems to be in a range of 1%-1,5%???
0/11.
Could buy another pack, but I am done with this event.
Don’t think I could handle another fucking purple trickster. I keep tossing those goofy looking bastards into the toilet bowl swirly and they keep giving me nothing but more of them!
Main account 0/5
Secondary account 1/2
I was pretty geeked to get Gunner Underboob
0/1 so far. Might buy a 10pack but I've been burned with these events.
1 lilith /10 souls
Two packs of 3 light souls opened. No lilliths dropped; but got 4 4star toons to save for the sac event this month.
I have no luck so far: 0 lilith /22 souls opened. All 22 souls earned 3* heroes. Great and motivating to try again.
So far the odds are 3.90%. If we don´t use Journeyman3003 and SteveHarris 2nd account (wich are 50%) the odds decrease to 1.19%
From another point of view: 713 souls opened, 12 lilit. That's 1.68%
So, the chances are very, very low. It's no surprise then, after another 5 light souls I don't get any Lilith. This is something I can understand, but out of all the souls I've got only 3* characters, this is something very disappointing.
70 souls ( more than 6000 ironit!!!) for perhaps one lilith...without me :(
I have not bought or opened any as yet - this is a great thread and this is exactly what we should know as a matter of course for each of these events that we are now getting. If this is the win rate then I can see many of us just not bothering with ironite spends - I am by nature not much of a gambler though to me I think that it is our choice to use or not use free or paid for ironite. Not sure how much ironite I have actually bought but not a lot so I am not sure if this really is gambling or not - either way we should know what the odds are - or better still if we knew that buying say 20 would guarnatee a character (or some other number but a known number). Maybe a soul where you know the odds and where you get a chance at the character (known) but also some coins which add up to a point where you get a guaranteed character (like frontier coins).
I think 1% or around there is way too low for this kind of event - 10% is better. I mean I am able to farm all day so not a bother to me doing this kind of event but stil lothers are giving up a lot of time to try to get as many 'free' light souls as they can from the event - that takes time/effort and time is money (or this is they way I see it).
Either way transparency should always be to the fore. This helps to build a relationship I think and the devs, to be fair to them, do get inolved with us on this forum and also tell us what is coming up which you dont always get a lot of in other mobile games - well not the ones I play anyway.
0 Lilith from 11 Souls
0 from 10 Souls
Total of 21 Souls=1x4* and rest 3*s. I’m done with this event. I’ve spent 330€ on christmas (more than 150 Souls opened) and didn’t get the Krampus or Edward the Great, so i’m not falling for it again....
A suggestion: if everybody edits his/ her post everey time when throwing in new souls (I do so) and druid does a counted up summary in his first post it would be even clearer.
I also think this is a great thread showing NF what RNG does to us. Something MUST be done about this shitty randomness, especially when spending real money. I would NEVER do that, with the prospect of a CHANCE to get something. That is absolutely unfair and a rip off.
that's the way they make the money. it's our choice not to fall for it. some guys like to gamble others don't.... i wouldn't spend money on that, but it's okay if others wants to, someone has to pay their salaries. but if you do spend have the damn right to get the right information about what you can expect (in form of chances)...
If all players see the shit RNG in that game NF will not make money in future
After that the only solution to make money for them will be to change that shit RNG ;)
If you think you can have you want: you can pay
But if you know that you will not have you want: you don't pay :)
0-for-2 thus far
(got Warrior Golden Son and Corrupt Owl Cultist...)
15 Souls, 0 Lilith
Luckily, I didn't pay for any souls. I am also missing Krampus and Edward The Great .... Also, still no luck getting Shaman ...
5 Souls , 0 Lillith
nah man, people play lotto and pay a ton of money for it and it' s one of the worst RNG ever. will be the same here, people will continue to buy, but yeah maybe less than before.
so they would have to bump the odds if they want to increase the income, but if people get better odds, they will buy less overall because they will get what they want more often etc. so it's a serious problem for them, we have to realize that they need to make money here. but they have to make it in a HONEST way, which is not the case atm.
400 powerslaves=7 event souls=https://youtu.be/tQ4OmoxEYYQ
+1/7 for the record
no purchase for NF-always bad luck with bought event souls 4 me
ATM? It never has been ... Why beating around the bush and not call it what it is: a fraud ... From the very beginning they are exploiting the loyal fan base of Iron Maiden.
Making money - fair enough. Sell shit at a reasonable price. 109 Euro for a few souls and useless ironite as you never get something for it is a fraud. I get it - I don't have to buy or play it but the rip off is a disgrace.
With those drop rates there is no reason at all to spend 1 more Cent on this scam.
Well.... That's RNG, you don't have to spend money to make ironite but if you do, that's alot of games right there. A very low chance of getting something you really want and I high chance of getting shit. You can only win by either sheer luck or by having a humongous wallet. I am strictly f2p in every game unless there's a subscription item like the ironite sub. Then I'll get that just for a cheap daily boost. Anyways I saved about 2500 ironite over the last month just by not spending it and I bought 20 light souls and I thank RNjesus that she came to me in a Sentinel form.
However, looking at how few people are actually getting her, I have to agree that with everyone else showing the odds, LotB really should as well. But it's not like knowing the odds would change them. It would just make people feel less inclined to play. And if people don't want to play, that hurts the game, and the less money the developers make, the less our game will be able to improve, therefore the updates wouldn't come as often and wouldn't have as much.
All in all, if you saw the odds and they were 1.5%, would you try anyways knowing that you've won before? I would, simply because of how much ironite you can get for free just by playing the game.
Don't forget the next event is allegedly about ironite, so we could be getting alot of it.
The updates wouldn't come as often? :D
There are hardly any updates on this game. What you mean is bugfixes or unnecessary nerfs and the game is not as broken as before but the progress of new content is ridiculous. I'm not financing bugfixes because some of the long standing really annoying bugs are still in the game. It's pathetic and on top of that you as a player gets punished to support this fraud.
All those former events with "higher chance" ... My ass ... Maybe they changed it from 1% to 1.1% ... Still would be higher but still a scam ...
27 souls/2 Lilith gunner/2 4-star
Thought I would share something from a chat in discord. It's information from Transformers: Forged to Fight on drop rates. Hopefully the guys from there don't mind me sharing this. The hope is that this gives people an idea of what drop-rates are in a game that uses this method for getting new characters. While it would be nice for NF to post some actual numbers as Amarthir stated it won't change the odds being what they are.
The explanation on the odds in F2F is only somewhat correct, maybe they missed something in statistics. The algorithm of the RNG also plays a factor, but won't go into that. The real odds change as the number increases. For the sake of argument, let's say you have a 2% chance to pull Lilith. The easiest way to calculate the statistical odds based on number of souls is using the reverse approach. You have a 98% chance to not pull her. So the formula would be
(odds to not pull Lilith) = .98(# of souls) x 100
Just subtract that from 100 to get your odds to pull her. You can see this page for a simple explanation of how to calculate it.
