guys the autoplay is just awesome, just one suggestion, although not sure if that's doable...one maclo 12 will screw the autoplay completly, would it be possible that the game remembers the autoplay after a crash, so that it can automaticly continue the grind despite a maclo?
@rain: i get that you are a disappointed, because you expected something different. but the instaclear won't work here. i play marvel strike force atm and it has this instaclear option and i love it. but this wouldn't be good for LOTB because there is not much left to do here aside the grind. some people don't play arena at all, so they would be done with the game in 5 mins per day. a real dev, as you call them, has no interest to limit the playing time in such a ridiculous way. for MSF it works perfectly, because they are many more features, like guilds, raids, gauntletlike battles, cool campaigns, events, dailies and so on. it has also a whole different economy system, so instagrind makes sense there. it would kill the game here, because we don't have enough content...
Not a problem, Spartan.. feel better. I don't mean to pester you. Just curious if it as a bug or as intended. If it's not as intended, I can wait for a fix before employing him in PvP (need a few skill shards anyway).
I thought it may be related to Chance talismans on the character... but nope.. swapped them for Angel.. same thing..
........appears to only happen when he's at full health and uses Complex. This is confirmed here. I can implement it without fail by using Complex when he's at full health. His HP isn't drained if theres even a sliver missing before hitting Complex.
Quite honestly, this update has been the best update I've seen since I started playing. Lots of great things. This "bug" is minor, I'm satiated by knowing it is a bug, not as intended.

Yeah have the issue of leaving the phone run for 15min...
Witch I answered with an app that shut the screen & let app runing behind, just put an alarm on vibration for 15 min (to not forget it) & it's done, quick & discrete :)
It makes ALL the difference :)
Now.... comes the 'sell the Talismans' issue.
Right... As I said before , this feature doesn't have to be everywhere (it could be limited to cosmos per say). Check for example Castle Clash or Dungeon Hunter and you would see what I mean... They limit the instant play feature to certain aspects of the game. Regardless, my point was not mainly about this feature... my whole point is still that NOTHING was done to significantly decrease the TIME it takes to grind trooper although it was clear in the infamous "state of nation".
So basically you consider grinding all day, to get some troopers badges actually "playing"? You would rather auto-play all day because "there is not much left to do here aside the grind"?
I have to say, I was skeptical of the auto replay, but I'm liking it so far. As has already been mentioned, it would be nice if we could set it to auto sell talismans, but it isn't a big issue. Only strange thing I've noticed so far is that if you let it go for a long time, the game will start doing an odd screen fade during power and fury moves.
Overall the game seems to be running faster though. Big props there.

Selling off talismans will become an issue when your inventory is full. The time saved in grinding will now be spent trying to figure out which ones to sell. Or you can "baby sit" stopping when needed... :rolleyes:
I Love it finish all troopers less then 2 hours why I did other things..
Now I'm auto playing the event..
Now lets get new world out, and I'll be happy..
Easy to solve this... Powerslave only drops spam talis anyway! ;) Sell everything that's new.
Not a bad little update, all in all. :cool: Purple Rescuer is pretty cool now. I do think that changing the turns of crits from 3 to 1 on VH was too much though, regardless of their goldeness. 2 turns would have been fair.
Instant play--let's say even on severely limited levels, like Easy AK--would still be nice in the future... but the autoplay is a step in the right direction, anyway.
Wish you'd fix the bug on poor Aces though... (Do or Die not inflicting Permadeth when it kills a char with Immortality) It really hurts his value in PVP (though I still use him a lot, sucker that I am. lol)
it's not about what i consider playing or not, it's about what the devs consider playing, and they clearly have no reason to let us play only 5 muntes every day, this should be somewhat obvious i think. and if you look at the game at all, if you don't consider grinding powerslave all day as playing, than you won't have fun with the game at all, that's sad but true, it is what it is.
but it has been done a lot about decreasing the "aware" playing time. not to tap 3 buttons every minute is a bless, even it doesn't decrease the time the game is running in the background. we praise it, because the game ich much more real life compatible now. that was the main concern for many guys...right now i can focus on typing and i'm not distracted by taping buttons, man i love this :D
Yes, noticed this, too. But there are situations when Astra (for example) kills a target with her powermove, and the target can't be revived. I thought then that the permadeath effect is applied before the damage is done, not after, but when I try to inflict it with SSE, the target always revives... strange.
Anyway, many, many thanks for the Auto-play feature, it is a really good one, this morning 2/3 of my SoT where consumed and I could drink peacefully my coffee, without staring at the screen and tapping it for hundred times; and now I can type these without stopping and clicking buttons. Great!!! :cool:
Not sure about the difference between Astra and SSE (unfortunately, I have neither), but what's for sure is that Immortality kicks in before Permadeath, and Permadeath is cleared before the actual revive.
I don't think this is how it's supposed to work, but the order in which buffs and debuffs are applied seems a bit unplanned in general, not only with Permadeath.
Oh yes the my Team Screen looks awesome, i love the arts in this game. And it gets better and better. The burning eyes if you have all Talis lvl 50 is really nice and the change between characters! <3

And damn.. tested the autofarm feature... it.. is.. awesome... especially for these kind of events and farming resources... i LOVE it!
But some things are a bit strange. In Arena it gets a bit darker at some attacks, it is a bit strange for my eyes. :D
And the news screen, like some time ago i told is german if the game is english.. but i think this wasn't on the list this update.
And the new Eddie looks AWESOME. And he is Sentinel. Yeah i like sentinel characters. And some cool character changes.. especially for the Sentinel Corrupt Rescuer (and the assassin looks good too) i like it very much.
All in all a really nice update so far i tested it. :)
One little detail i’ve noticed: Iron Eddie is promoted as a 5* on the loading screen (at least that’s what i thought i have seen the last time it appeared....since i don’t have to stare at the loading screens anymore).
Loving the new auto feature...I can now take a dump without having to take my phone in to the toilet with me to play troopers 😂

Ha. Funny story about how much this forum has changed... back when it was still roadhouse, and LoL was just released. People were talking about the blue dungeon, and how long it took waiting for the ghost effect to wear off. I made a comment saying I set it on auto and took a dump. My post got censored for saying “take a dump”. :)
Now you can say “take a shit”, and it doesn’t seem to matter.
Overall, A+ improvements with this update! Faster, smoother, great commercial move.
All the skill changes lately seems interesting and sure have stirred things up a bit.
Symbiote mentioned darkening of screen on hit. I see that too on iPad and it is hard on eyes, so consider leaving that effect out.

Guess they now know where boundaries sets by themselves, ppl tend to stay kind of civil here, that community despite a toxic member from time to time is great & autoregulate itself... Guess rarely anyone get censored nowadays...

Great update so far I think. I like the new visuals and actually like the screen darkening thing if it is the same thing you guys are seeing - it seems to be an effect for when i big hit has occured by the look sof it - almost like a dark cloud over the battle field - I like it - bit more dramatic. Along with the other visual changes it is a good change for me.
PoM Ed does seem to have a broken move which I am sure wil be quick to fix bit not got him yet like many others.
Love the new auto feature too - works great so far and I see this as a major step in the right direction for the game.
APMA3 ErrorYou guys really did give us good new features but this APMA3 is killing me after the new update. Now I get it in the middle of a fight in PVP and after I won the match it gave me Defeat, I lost 20 points, winning strike and a SOW. I am not sure what is causing it but I checked my inventory and it's not full as some other players mentioned it before that this might be the reason.
Even more annoying.. no iron coins for victories if you don't see the victory screen.
I gotta say though.. the more I play the better I'm finding the update. Yeah there are a couple issues.. but overall the improvements are really great. The MyTeam screen is absolutely fantastic with the update. Now all it needs is some mechanism to try and alleviate the swipe left, swipe left, swipe left, swipe left, swipe left, swipe left, swipe left, swipe left, swipe left, swipe left, swipe left, swipe left, swipe left, swipe left, swipe left, swipe left, swipe left, swipe left, swipe left.. oh THERE are the gunner talismans :)
Whoops. That is indeed an error in our loading screen data. Should be a simple fix; we'll be sure to fix that for a subsequent update.
Hm, it looks like there's something our artists added into the game to add additional flair to certain combat actions which may be a bit disruptive depending on factors we may have not considered.
For any of you guys having problem with these new effects:
- Do you guys play with low or high brightness?
- Is there a particular time period the environment is in where you are noticing this being problematic (ie environment colour changes based on Eddies using past, present, or future skills)?
- What device are you guys playing on?
I'll pass these issues along to the team to investigate.
Yeah, we were having some discussions last week about what quality of life issues we should look into next, and improvements for navigating/filtering in the My Team screen was one of those potential areas. I'm not sure if work for that will make it into the next major update, but it's definitely something we're investigating solutions for.
Another suggestion would be a better way to streamline selecting characters in the arena. When I only want to keep switching one character out and I have a roster of 300 it takes awhile to scroll through all of them.
Hoping in long term could add a feature where we could designate which characters show up on our character screen in the arena.
One thing I noticed was, when I get this error message after a win, if I tap 'okay' I don't receive the iron coins. HOWEVER, if I tap the 'x' on the top right, the error seems to correct itself and it goes right to the victory screen where I get the iron coins.
Try that next time and see if it works.
I am using IOS and it occurs in PVP where you make a hit - usually a big hit - it's almost like a dimming of the ambient light. It is new to me so thought it was part of the graphic upgrades.
