Got the count with the previous heroic souls (13 only).
Opened today my 12 heroic souls and got the warrior dog. My luck left me after getting the Count.
My new "white whale" seems to be Viking Eddie. I just remembered i quit playing first time after first Viking Eddie event when i failed.
I used to put rainmaker high on my wanted list but praise the rng gods i got him first try in the eternity soul (i think thats what it was called?)
Since i pretty much only decide based on their look, mmmmm.... Viking, cyborg, trooper, Edward, clansman, and yea the list goes on lol.
I take any 5 star that isn't a mofo COTD or a mofo Nomad or a Mofo Shaman. Srsly NF can i stop getting those 3?
Back when i started playing, Rainmaker was always a priority for me. I'm a lot more drawn to dark things, and Rainmaker is arguably the darkest eddie when it comes to theme. Always been a fan. As of right now, no eddies are on my wanted list as I've already had the entire eddie roster at least once. But for allies, I'm still waiting on Dandelous. I have everyone else that I want from heroic souls. However I would love to regain my Hollowed Eddie, or Clansman, or even Edward the Great. I'm sure they'll turn up eventually. Beast may be the only one that I honestly want more than any other character
I'm curious, does anyone have all the natural 5* characters currently available?
I think I'm missing assassin Krampus, Musashi and Mariner as far as natural 5*. Good question, I bet someone has them all.Quote:

Back in release i also wanted assassin COTD alot, i got 4 warrior ones so i guess thats rng saying FU, but i just got the assassin one from a shrieking soul, im, really disappointed at my luck, i meam he's prob a decent toon, but looking at what i could've gotten... Its pretty sad.

Interested to see if players are kept from acquiring all natural 5* to keep them chasing. From the current series of Heroic souls, I'm looking for Redan. After 99 Heroics and 2 Legendary Heroics, all characters dropped from the current pool except, you guessed it, Redan. I believe she is the only 5* missing from my roster. About any five star support character in the cycling Herioc Soul for the time being. Those are my white whales. Mind boggling that a stone that has just ten toons can somehow drop nothing but the three star fodder in it after a hundred plus stones. But everything normal folks. Just spend a hundred bucks for twelve more of these once in a lifetime soul stones. What do you got to lose?
Agree on this - I have never really complained about RNG in this game, you get what you get. But I absolutely hate heroic souls with a passion. The amount of garbage that comes out of those things is unbelievable. It’s the one instance where I think a soul drop might actually be programmed not to deliver the character you are missing.Quote:

That is the nature of the RNG drop. For myself the heroic soul drops have been generous to me. I pulled 2 madams, one count and one baroness in less than 100 heroic souls. I threw 166 shrieking souls in the mouth and never pulled a bass eddie. I dropped a stack of 99 G/A souls and not one 4* or above. You never know what outcome you will get with the slot machine.
The heroic souls have the best (small) chance of dropping the character you want.
I hear you but for me the heroics don’t seem as random as some of the others. For instance this latest rotation has the possibility of 3 four star characters, w nbol, ass artillery dog, or magus soulless demon. I’ve dropped a couple handfuls of heroics and guess who I got - a couple w nbol, and an ass artillery dog. Guess the only four star character I don’t have? Yep magus soulless demon. I'm getting tired of all of this honestly. The next playable world (Isle of Avalon) probably won't be released this year and devs will focus on some PvP/Guilds stuff instead. And I'm not too much into such stuff, I prefer the story. Maybe I should go into a hibernation state for a while.
For all souls, there is a bigger chance to get dupes than to get new characters, this is something that many people think is more depending on your user account than on the actual soul you open.
Of course, this issue becomes more apparent when opening souls that feature a smaller pool of possible characters.
And yes, I despise Heroic Souls as well for that very system.
It should - with all odds being fair - be far more likely to pull a certain character from a smaller pool of heroic characters than from say a rare or legendary soul, but the RNG is biased to go for dupes, so this makes heroic souls look like even worse than others.
Nah, I can believe in the arena defence conspiracy, but still reckon the souls business is just confirmation bias. It feels that way, but it always does when you get smashed in the soul opening. This of it this way with heroics. You only have a ~10% chance of getting a 4*. There are 3 of them in the rotation, so you've actually only got a 3% chance of getting just the 1 you want. If you want a 5*, then its a 1% chance to get either, so 0.5% chance of getting the one you want.Quote:

Well, sort of, but if you have two five-star characters per heroic rotation, the distributuin should be more or less even. But we have LOTS of cases where five or six 5* characters dropped out of hundreds of heroic souls, and all were dupes, but the one sought-after character did not drop.Quote:

Nope, for me this is obvious. A dupe-biased RNG at work here.
Of course, the dev's could lay open the RNG sources or at least contradict to anyone who has put up this argument, but so far, it's only silence on that front.

I can't seem to acquire gunner Hierophant. Hope he ends up in heroic souls at some point. I'm also missing gunner Minotaur.
For me still Assassin Hiero and NotB Eddie are the mian ones - no luck on heroics to get them. Got nothing from the current event either so all of those too - I never seem to get any luck with event souls but many in the same boat this time! noticed to othat only three troopers of mine have any of the new guys on show so maybe this time the odds are lower than usual.
Personally I seem to never have Pharaoh Eddie. I’ve sacrificed him multiple times because he wasn’t as good as he is now, and I just never see him when I summon sentinel souls.
Why would you ever sacrifice a non dupe Eddie? Or any 5* non dupe toon.
