DO NOT REFRESH IN ARENA... Unless you really want to throw away ironite.
If you refresh in arena when there are connection issues, it will take 10 ironite even though it says free refresh. Watch your ironite numbers. It'd be nice if the Devs could warn us of these things, or read our tickets, or give us a decent compensation equal to what we lost.

Thanks AM, and to everyone else that has contributed to this thread. I find it odd that only certain people/users get certain emails, like the one mentioned before “Sorry for the server problems, it’s on the naughty list”, or whatever. I know I never received anything like that. The free stuff is cool and all, but for a guy like me who doesn’t care all that much about freebies/spiffs/etc., a simple apology email for the servers being shitty, or even an occasional “Thanks for supporting us all these years, it’s your “xxx” anniversary (or insert something else that’s trivial) would do WONDERS — you know, something that shows I’m more than just a dollar sign with aching thumbs and an obvious addiction that is being ruthlessly exploited.
Then again, I’m a dumbass who continues to feed the machine, because I’m hooked thru the bag like the rest of ya, and I’d probably keep playing even if they started sending me lewd jokes about my mom, poisoned my dog, and wiped a booger on my steering wheel.
