3* Evo Runes for talismans don't drop as near as often anymore un UW madness. All I am getting today is 1* Evo Runes - but I am a few levels down as I keep almost dying higher up.
I don't wish the responsible person for this mess any big harm. But a few days diarrhoea and no access to toilet paper should be more than fair ...
Just realize CR Eddie are a way worse than before, that's why many of us fail in autofarm.
And that is not mentioned in character tuning, so I guess that's probably another unexpected bug.
As I see and mentioned once before, the real problem of this game is the dev team, they are just meh, that's why still no sacrifice, inventory full and difficult to fix (because if you got hundreds material the file need to be download will be too large to cause broken file then the game can't be load, that's Sparton_LOTB said, they obviously don't know how to design communication protocols and how to deal with network transmission, that why they are stuck at this so easy (hardly can say it's a) "problem" for so long), server error and so on (too much bugs hardly to elaborate them all).
I am already losing faith to the dev team, maybe they have good artists, designers, but they still need decent software engineers to implements these ideas.
In this situation, I guess PVP will be a total disaster. You need to presume the network is unstable, the connection will be broken, the package will be lost, the disk will be the lack of space, the memory will be too low, and handle all these situations, not just server error or network unavailable. We already got so many these errors right now, in PVP we will see much more errors, especially if PVP including multiple players, not just 2.
No more nerfs or new characters. PVP can wait. New contents, sacrifice, and bug fix should be the priority.

I CAN confirm this... I believe that it's actually AFFECTS ALL CHARACTERS (not just AOF) while playing on auto your characters acting like being without skillshards at all...

P.S. I I noticed that my Smokie hits with her Golden Stare about above 4k on auto; above 9k (both average without any buffs) on manual - 50% down
P.S. II I've got for today just 250 trooper points so far... Either way people can't play or playing on auto, dying, not reviving and no trooper points...

This explain why my soldier Eddie suffers the same problem. I've maxed his barrage skill, yet hardly kill the row of Rock Golems in the Powerslave madness with autoplay (with the perfect hits buff by desert marauder). Yet when I play manually, all the Rock Golems instantly die using the same skill.

Yikes. I can't believe people are spending that much money on this game. Why? The music and art design is cool, but there's nothing here in terms of gameplay to warrant that kind of spending. I'm level 92 and have been playing it regularly for the heck of it, but the pricing of this in-game/consumable/random content is absolutely absurd.
Seriously, please stop spending so much on this, especially when the game is so buggy and flawed, and designed like so many mobile games to manipulate you like that.

The incentive to open shards is completely gone for me. Why even try for a 5* legendary character when the nerf bat is making everything equal. Other than to 'collect em all', it's no longer worth it. As difficult as it is to pull a legendary character, it would be nice if it actually felt legendary.
Agree with others, I could completely do without PvP, especially since the balancing is ruining what made the game great. I love the idea of making PvP and PvE separate applications. Let players choose what they want to focus on without affecting the other style of play.
This hovering nerf cloud also affects this forum. I do enjoy interacting and sharing with fans on this board - it's part of the fun of the game

Screwing up auto play could put this game in a death spiral. I can't believe enough players will play only manual battles.
For those who are end gamed and frustrated, I'm not spending trooper points, just logging 50 battles a day, and only using credits to level up talisman until all the 'updates' are finished and new content is rolled out. I suggest you do the same. Maybe having 10 million in credits and 50k trooper points will pay off.
I think the team is going and needs to nerf every character that is overpower to make it fare for everyone on pvp so the strategy will be the winning factor and not completely base on the characters use for the battles my guess is that Angel of Fear is on the list to get nerf we all know that his basic attack is overpower and can give us the victory in one round due to his passive
That seems to be the case although with all the bugs some characters seem overpower like
SE with the talisman fault he got nerfed same time as bug fix so now his fury is weaker than normal attacks

Let me throw in my $.02 on nerfing. A game where every character is equal is boring. Some characters need to be OP and difficult to obtain/level. Give those who spend time and/or $$$ a reward.
If voidings are supposed to be equal to alliance general then all incentive for pay to play goes away. I'll just use my 1,000 unused souls and level a bunch of 1* characters for free. Why pay to get Viking Eddie when any Eddie will do?
In summary, please fix toons that are significantly out of balance, like Rainmaker having 7200 special, but don't overntinker every toon.
They must fix the autoplay bug asap. They already started to dig their own grave with this "updates".
They didn't persist invisibly, they persisted very visibly. At least the ones I noticed. A buff from passive, such as ATK UP that was still in place when the round was won would and stack with the next rounds passive buff. Before this update you could press and hold on a character and it would show a little splash display where it would be an icon for ATK UP with "50 %" under it. This way you could see how it would be 100 % in the second wave, 150 % in the third and so on.
How was there a nerf? I don't get it.
Aristo - let me tell you the biggest bug of all time .. no dev can fix it - it is absolutely HUGE. "CR eddie healing opponents with fury move" that s been around for atleast 3 months

Such a suggestion came to my mind now and I want to share with you all... Please consider choosing let's say ''safe'' level to play on auto which could be 100% sucessful and play this with your troopers... This way nobody gets hurt - even if the loots won't be as big, everybody might get the trooper points without the need of reviving now and loosing ironities/or no reviving and loosing trooper points...
Actually I play with all my GREAT troopers ''Powerslave'' madness and so far no needed to revive (AMLOAD madness is not an option for me now thanks to few guys with burners...)
It's always better to gain something, even little, than loose - right? So that way we could be fairly secure upon lack of competencies and so knowledge of certain people at least for the new ''fix'' and ''updates''

Good one! Before this update I did all my farming on Game of Death and did all my non-Eddie Troopers on Shadows in the Valley. Though after I lost there today with a Corrupt General (sorry Ringe or Nicko, I think it was yours), I've bumped that one down to Soulless Demons. Fortunately I can still do Game of Death with Grim Reaper, blue allied soldier and AoF
This is basically what I did and startet to kill nothing but dice again today ... I got killed in AMOLAD madness but revived anyways as I got some ironite to spare as spending it doesn't make sense at all right now. I almost got killed in shadow in the valley twice and decided to kill dice (1st stage, 2nd battle) ... just to find out that the loot there is really not great.
For the sake of my troopers I played them all (1 server error - sorry for that one) but I really did not have fun at all. So I ask myself - what's the actual point of continue playing?
Souls? -> crap outcome (ox cultists)
Skillshards? -> nerf bat
Evolving chars? -> server error, crap drops
LoL? -> No more souls but 7-8 SoT
Every direction to go in this game at the moment looks dire - I am sorry for my negativity here as I basically play from the beginning and tried to be optimistic really a long long time. But it is hard right now to keep that up.
One thing is for certain - I won't spend money on this game at the moment.
Mine keeps crashing on the kill shot. Whatever my last shot is that kills the final wave of enemies, it freezes before they even die, and then a few seconds later the game closes out completely.
Not sure if I or my troopers are actually earning their badges or not when this happens, but I assume probably not.
Bingo! The thing that makes it harder to autoplay right now is skill shards not applying, not nerfs across the board.

It's easiest to test it with effect duration +1 or Fury skills.

well,i'm not gonna start bitching again since i said it long ago,that the devs would do a massive favor to the players and themselves by just pulling the plug on this project(every update proves it more and more). but the fact that your all time biggest defender, FlyingV is now using the same sofisticated words like "miopic" (i still didn't bothet to google the meaning of it...guess it's something like utopistic) on you instead of me means that it's really getting BAD.
On a positive note: Sparton made me laugh this morning like no one did in a while by asking us players to get 2 identical characters,one fully sharded and one without, to reproduce the auto farming bug...come on mate! you are the boss of it all! do you not have some kind of admin console pr editor,to just make a character you want in few clicks? don't be lazy and take 5 minutes to finally install the game on your phone and try it yourself (i knew you've never played this game ever since your surprised reaction to fierce talismans and you've proven it on several more occasions after)!this attitude of a Mc'Donalds worker,who never eats big macs cause he knows that his coworkers spit into them won't get you far...

You are right though. All I want is for this game to get the treatment and attention it deserves to succeed...as a fan of Eddie and Iron Maiden. Were it not for this connection, myself and the vast majority would have jumped ship long ago despite the fact that the game remains (on paper) as a very intelligent vs strategy game.
It just strikes me after looking through the developments since August that Nodding Frog is as inept and unwilling to do this as Roadhouse was. In a perfect world, I'd prefer to see the team or those responsible within it replaced with those with the competance/drive/willingness/ability to get the job done. The reality will likely be a stalemate between us enduring a lackluster execution and/or losing interest once and for all. I am very upset that this appears to be the likely direction of this game.
I only play because of the subject matter - Iron Maiden. It's Iron Maiden's image that's on the line, not Nodding Frog. People who are unsatisified should write to Iron Maiden and let them know your frustrations. I would hope Maiden would act as a sort of "Board of Directors" to provide guidance and would hopefully react based on the feedback from their fans.
I'll get back to reading through the thread and responding momentarily, but I wanted to post that the team has identified what the exact problem is for the apparent nerf that affects many characters.
The short of it is skill shards do not function in auto-play (for all characters). They do still function when playing manually, though. I've created an announcement thread with more information here.
