I am having a hard time getting through Night City, which is kinda cool actually. I have finished normal, but getting through hard is a lot tougher - what team did you guys use to get through hard?

It's actually not if you prepared for it and saved all the stuff you got. I have learned to resist the urge of opening everything that comes in (unless I know what it is but I open it to level it as fodder). This event gave me now enough blood fragments to get Killer Prime and Red Banshee - I saved all the blood frags before. I'm short to buy the talismans and I probably resist as I think it is better to Save Our Souls *pun intended*Quote:

I agree - no constant returns of more and more souls like the last 2 but good enough, and there has definitely been worse ones. I didn't sacrifice any chars between the last sac event and this one and, between the souls I earned in the meantime as well as the ones I opened during the BoS event, I had enough to earn 65 event souls just through sacrifices and a couple of vortex fills having bought no souls in the mean time. Very close (100 essence, if that) to the next Vortex but decided to save it for next event and buy the last 10 souls I needed to guarantee the Bass Eddie. The only Banshee I didn't get out of the 75 event souls I dropped was Sentinel and she's in the normal soul rotation anyway so I'm perfectly happy with this event; I just didn't get the dozens of Skill Shards the last ones gave me but can live with that as you can't get them all the time.Quote:

So, didn't have high hopes for this event at first. Last night, threw in several stacks, got 2 banshees (Sentinel and Assassin) and a few Eds I didn't have on my main Acc from the Shrieking Souls. Not too bad, but of course somewhat disappointed as I'd gone through over 30 of them...
Then the game stopped giving me Shrieking frags for a while, but has started giving them again. Cool, let's see if I can get somewhere with the last soul.
Opened the soul up 5 mins ago and oh look, Bass Ed. Going through his skills, I'm pretty happy. I'm glad there's a new debuff to stop extra turns, I like the new Perfect Accuracy effects, and overall he looks pretty powerful. Hoping you all manage to pull him at some point soon \m/
I am a bit in the same boat. I am missing the magus one and would have a lot more juice to sacrifice. But I got the Ed through 750 frags and the two more exclusive chicks. So I think I let it go for now and go back to the hoarding mode. I will miss the talismans this time but I can live with that ... the will come back in some Gauntlet mode ...Quote:

This is shaping up to be another rough sac event for me but that's mostly due to poor planning on my part. I'm still excited for the chance of some new characters so I'll just have to hope RNGsus (geddit???) is on my side.

80 event souls give 800 Bass Ed frags and to claim the guaranteed soul for him you need 750 frags ... check the frag book and if you really opened 80 souls you should have him.Quote:

the 3 epic souls are from an event reward. I think it comes from doing a level 6 sacrifice. I opened mine but i was half asleep and i cant remember what i got. All in all it was a pretty damn good event for me. I had quite a lot of souls saved up and they netted me the following new toons: a prisoner, assassin CotD, all 4 banshees and the bass eddie of course, an alliance general, red troll, cannoneer, assassin shinobi, and enough frags to buy my KP. I still need to buy warlord talisman and the red banshee though...Quote:

On the other hand, all the night city mega events have a way to farm for blood fragments. So you should get enough for KP before the 3rd event ends. :)
I have to admit that even though this sacrifice event does not have the “recycling” ability of the last 2 events, I feel that the drop rates were higher and that the “goal” characters were readily attainable from other means. I know some people were not as lucky as others but reading the comments, I found that there were more postive than negative results for obtaining the new characters. There was also not a huge drain on other resources so those that struggle with evolving shards were not limited in how they could proceed with the sacrifices. I would like to see this trend continue.
Both types of sacrifice events have their pros and cons. In the current months sacrifice event if you didn't save alot of souls or frags you may have problems earning blood frags due to a lack essence fodder. While the recycling type of event may be limited by either gold or shards.
It is nice to have both types of events so not to exclude reward earnings due to a lack of a specific resource. Either type of reward system still requires a substantial amount of resources to earn the top prizes such as KP or high value talisman.
So still hopefully will be getting some lost shrieking souls, but otherwise, I've expended all my mats I can except for a stack of 23 rare souls (keeping for next rare soul event).
So got 1 Magus Banshee.
Also in one of the first souls dropped I got a 5* Magus...... Dupe 7th son :'( Was so hoping it'd be Bass Eddie when the eye went red!
Fingers crossed support comes through with the goods and then the RNG gods help me out a bit!
Actually, reckon its worth using up all my rares for this event too? Or best keep them for next event? I guess I might get lucky and get more sac fodder? Probs a VI sac away from another vortex.... Reckon I'd make that from 23 rare souls?
NF! My event didn’t start. I’ve send a ticket but you have to be fast. That Eddie is very valuable for getting 6 talismans in this weeks Gauntlet!
Hi guys, maybe you can help me with this: in the Banshee fight (with every difficulty level) I finish with 100% health but get no golden skull as a reward? Anybody has the same problem? Is it a bug or am I missing something?

Need souls for sacrifice...or should I stop?
If at all possible try and pull the assassin banshee. She is well worth it, dont know when she will be available again. The blue and green banshee can be pulled from regular souls.
I need 50 Blood Fragments to buy the Prime Killer. 200 Arena fights will give me 50 fragments, but I need the SOW for Gauntlet to get the Mariner Fragments. I think it's better to wait for the 3rd Night City Event to get the Prime Killer, right?
I'm shooting for the Mariner. For some reason killer prime is not interesting to me, but he's a hard hitter.
URock: You can also get the blood fragments by redeeming Shrieking souls. If you have some of those left, or purchase can them for ironite, or else can get some thru sacrificing other stuff, then you could probably get your 50 blood fragments that way. You get 5 fragments per souls, so you'd need 10 souls for 50 fragments.
A kind of weird event for me.
I finally get Bass Eddie with the frags. I opened a lot or rare souls, magus, sentinel, warrior rare souls and got only 4* and 3* dupes. No 5* at all. First time it happened.
Got 2 magus, 1 gunner and 1 sentinel banshees.
Keeping souls for the next sac event.
Probably be able to get Killer Prime during the 3rd round.
