hey guys one question: i see several players setting up a weak defence on purpose, as if they wanted to invite you to attack them more...
Is it because they want to increase the times they get attacked? But if so, if i'm not mistaken i understood that only the attacks you do, count for the total arena battles which give you the relative prize, am i wrong?
I think only attacks count for the event. Those with shallow defenses probably want to get attacked much in order lose points, and get easier opponents to attack. Atleast that's how i reason :)
This is a strategy to keep VP score low so that attack list contains weaker enemies, which results in more overall victories achieved and more Iron Coins farmed. For lower level players IC is more valuable than weekly rank reward. Doing the same on my alt accountQuote:

I have passed 375 and out of ironite now. What a grind. Cheers to those who had 500. Tier 6 is sweet spot for me, fair enough. Wow, thebeast46's team is crazy good with a FOTD Eddie. I inched the win with a final dual between a toon on each side with it going down to each toon within a hit of death. Of course, FOTD's talismans must process for maximum effectiveness and boy did they ever.
After his first round of hits I was pretty decimated.
Closing in on 375....at 339.
Interesting to see different people having difficulties with different defense teams. My toughest ones are usually against Ovy's. That rocket just deals amazing aoe damage if he is going first. Though I am too lazy to switch talismans just for one fight :D

I've got a tough dilemma. I'm at 520 so I made the event goal. I'm sitting around 80 in rank. I can't decide if I should spend on refills or just call it quits. Tomorrow could be tough if a lot of people are still trying to reach their goal. I wish the devs had spread out the rewards a long time ago. Spending a couple hundred ironite to maybe hold top 50 doesn't seem worth it to me. If I'm gonna spend that much I'd at least want top 25. Its a tough choice. Finally crossed my 500 matches...whew, no energy to play anymore. I was in top 50 last night before I went to bed, and then woke up this morning outside of top 100.
Doubt that I want to spend any more Ironite just to stay in top 100...folks are going to play like crazy today and tomorrow. In hindsight maybe I should have paced myself, but busy this evening and tomorrow, so glad to get the 500 over with. Have spent over 600 in Ironite, maybe even 700. Thankfully I got 100 Ironite from an achievement challenge.
Speaking of tough teams, the toughest ones are Jofer, Derek (similar team as Jofer's), MrFreeze (yes you fellow trooper, I have lost to you quite a bit...I dread when your name shows up on my list), and Ovy's.
Some other teams with Rainmaker Eddie and Corrupt Assasin Harpy are horrible and can singlehandedly destroy my toons.

I'm in 305 battle, I hope to reach the 375 before the reset. By the way, anything have trouble with the GCR, sometimes the MCR don´t steal the titan shield (bug?) and I don't know why. To counter that, I use the blue bat or a pyro soldier (warrior), but is annoying deal whit the GCR.
Hahah mine is the sentinel Harpy. I call her the green bitch. No matter who is on the team, I gotta kill her first or she locks up my two healers. I hate that toon lol. The gold bitch, just stun or freeze her if you can. She dies easy if she misses a turn or two. The blue bitch is a pain if she gets to freeze. That puta will freeze my whole team. Sadly, the one I have freezes like one toon lol.Quote:

Mine doesn't steal the shield from GCR. She seems to activate it. Sometimes when the shield isn't up I can hit her with GRE, AoP and the prisoner without it activating, but when I attack with MCR, it comes up.
