Haven't had a real chance to test them, but the gunner can equip primordials. That's always a plus in my book.
After doing a bit of testing, this is what I got:
The Assassin Banshee might be the best one. She is... infuriatingly resilient.
I don't have the Gunner but she seems like she would be second best.
Warrior is third best
Sentinel is fourth
And Magus is probably the worst. Which is not saying much because all 5 are pretty awesome. But I'm open to other opinions.
I've got them all except the Magus.. haven't really tested any of them other than Warrior, which I've had a couple weeks now.
I tried the Assassin in the Arena and her passive did not kick in once. Easily slaughtered by the top teams. I am sure i need to work on her talismans though. Was running her with Fate and Purge though she may better benefit from Nightmare and Angel.
Gunner is really nice with Primordials equipped and I was able to beat a few FFE/KP builds with her. I may try her with some other talismans. Her power move is solid though a little expensive at 7 cost. Might pair well with Iron Eddie.
I just picked up the Magus and after playing with her on my troopers I think she has some good potential. Since her cleanse only costs 5 and removes all negative effects including silver effects. She needs a blocker but I will test her some more with talismans. Looking at Angel and Energy.
Did not get Sentinel yet so cant comment on her yet.
What I learned about her passive is that it affects everyone except for her. Spent plenty of time testing her passive out and she has the most potential in my eyes, but finding the right talisman set is tricky. I'm leaning towards angel and Immunity, but she needs a blocker as well.
I feel the Magnus would be really good for a burn team which is what i'm running for my offence right now, a good sub for Daedalus when the opponent has Madam
her talismenslots look wonky tho. her damage is magic but her slots are 1 gunner and two green?????
I've got them all now.. powering them up... I've got the Gunner and Assassin fully sharded and 1 or 2 skill shards on a couple others.
Assassin is great for immunity.. Gunner is great to REMOVE immunity and buffs before she hits. So far the others are okay. Not bad, but nothing to get too worked up about.
eah personally i feel they are pertty awsome characters, around the level of them shinobis. at least on next round of gauntlest i wouldent have to force my self to use them demon spawns anymore(blue demon is decent fro certin teams tho)
Amarthir I owe you an apology. After playing around with this Assassin I found that she is quite amazing with a blocker and the right set up. I just switched my defense team to test but I am using the same team on attack and have obliterated every type team faced so far. FFE/KD, HE/Alch and everything in between has fallen. The passive is just so good. I am wondering how much more survivability you could gain if you can fit a set of Destiny set somewhere in the build but here is what I am using currently. I have even seen a few lower level guys using Assassin Banshee and not maxed level and she gave me a little bit of trouble but the other allies took care of her so the rest of the team would fall soon after.
Assassin Banshee - Angel/Fate - She needs to stay alive to keep the passive up so those are the best talismans for that. Her basic attack gives Perfect Immunity to the team providing more survivability from KD and the like, healing herself in the process. I have only had to use her power ability once and it was insane because she was the only one standing against a team of 4. She revived the whole team and I had full fury and completely wiped out the opponent.
Gunner Banshee - Primordial set - Basic attack eats up Magus Lillith with Destiny and anyone else hiding behind Invincibility. Her real crusher is Wild One. Facing a team with stacked buffs? Hit Wild One and watch them all drop and end up with a nasty list of debuffs. Then she gives a random offensive buff to each ally. Most times it's Crit strike so now you have some power on your attackers. Even better is that Wild One does no damage so you don't trigger Counter or wake sleeping enemies.
Set - Shadow/Immunity - in the past he was not as great as other blockers since he was easy to kill off after the first round of him not having invisibility but with Assassin Banshee protecting him he is quite good at staying alive. Often times he is hitting for 30-40k from Shadow and Gunner Banshee buffs.
Final Frontier Eddie - Eternity Set - Though I just got him yesterday and am still not 100% convinced that Eternity is the best set for him, he does add more to the survivability of the team. I mainly use only two of his abilities and his Fury. Earthbound is my main go to for stun and power generation to feed Gunner Banshee. On occasion I will use Hallowed Bones but mostly Earthbound and The Final Frontier.

I just had a sticky beak at a fellow troopers Assasin Banshee, that passive is the single most confusing description of any character to date, I still don't get it... can someone please explain it to me I'm a bit daft sometimes...
I can see a nerf already coming for both yellow and purple banshee. The assassin banshee placing immunity before your attack it will negate revenge trap, sleep and other negative effects. The gunner removing invincibility and vanish before the attack can wipe out blockers defenses. Steel and shadow will be rendered useless after the first attack.
I guess with all the defensive buffs be given at the start of the battle, I can see why we need ultimate buff removers.
The way I understand it is that 35% of the time your team will take 0 damage from an attack. The 65% chance that an attack will land the damage will be random and based on that characters Max HP.
So if a mutil attacker swings with physical damage at your team, each member has a 35% chance to take 0 damage. If the attack goes through, it may come through as magic, true or physical regardless of the attacker and the damage is a % of your Max HP instead of straight damage. We don’t know what that % is but I can assure you it has never been 100%.
This is why I use Eternal Talismans on my FFE. Even when attacks penetrate the Banshee passive they still may be blocked by other Shields.
Yeah good point! I just had a few bouts in the arena and have seen a number of teams sporting banshees, I don't muck around with them Gunner Banshee is the first one I destroy closely followed by Assasin Banshee... fortunately I haven't seen the bad side of one of these teams yet...
Hats off to Stormseye (again) for this outstanding setup. Gotta hand it to you bro, I have to admit I almost enjoyed getting my ass handed to me,on a plate against this team. The Banshee chiks are an excellent addition to the roster, combining new skills wrapped up in devilishly appealing packages.
Take a look at Gunner Banshee's Basic Skill, and I quote"ANGEL GRINDER" awesome let's go and grind some Angel's.
I think the creators should apply spell check before they publish this stuff sometimes...

I think Rags believes it should read "ANGLE GRINDER"... but really
The devs could have actually meant "ANGEL"
Meaning it clears positive buffs like Angel talismans clear negative buffs.
So it may or may not actually be a typo.
Perhaps things are spelt differently in the states or your respective countries, where I'm from that should read Angle with respect to the power tool Angle grinder, an Angel as in Angel talisman is spelt correctly... they can't both be right....
I just played Terek's new defence in the Arena, that Assasin Banshee is very good, I would say the protection she offers her team is way above 35%.... awesome character, beside Gunner Banshee it's a very hard slog knocking them down...
They should put a safety shield on her tool, it would create a terrible mess when contact with her opponent occurs. Also isn't the sentinal blade turning backwards.
I haven't seen the Sentinel Banshee yet anywhere.... good point though all these characters could use some personal protective equipment....
Yeah I've got all 5 at various stages of powering up. W and A are fully sharded and full power - G is fully sarded but needs 50 levels still. S & M have 1 or 2 skill shards and still have a 20-50 levels to go. All evolved to 5 star though.
I've got all 5 Banshees. All pushed up to lvl 100 and fully sharded. Not all have talis yet, or possibly even good selections of talis.
Suggestions anyone?
I've got all but the Assasin and I'll beg borrow and steal till I do get her... almost finished levelling up the Sentinel and all are skill sharded, Sentinel will hold Eternals, Gunner will hold Primordials, I guess based on what I read of Stormseye's Assasin she is 3 purples? I just had my ass handed to me by his defence too, going to be hard to stop the Assasin Banshee and blocker combo...

Assassin: 2 Yellow, 1 Purple (YPY)
Gunner: 3 Yellow
Warrior: 3 Red
Sentinel: 3 Green
Magus: 2 Green, 1 Yellow (GYG)
Currently I have on them:
Gunner: Primordials.
Assassin: Radiant, Resilience (might swap Resilience for Warlord if I get enough blood soul fragments for another set - shouldn't be hard).
Warrior: Strike, Force (haven't quite got a set of Valor I can spare on her atm).
Sentinel: Not yet chosen (haven't quite got a set of Eternals I can spare on her atm).
Magus: Shell, Tranquility and Immunity.
I'm running into a bug where i could not damage a entire team sometimes with the assassin banshee when the other team also had a blocker with destiny, the blocker gain no effect such as invincibility and take no damage but i just a bunch of blocked on the blocker but just no damage taken what so ever
or i could jsut have the worst luck in the universe and failed to land a single hit for 5 turns straight with all my characters?
its also quite funny when the dmage avoid basically cancel my million damage hit setup team. god i hate this thing when i have to fight it
I'm seeing the same thing.
Seems to last 3 turns then no issue.. you just have to survive 3 turns. Not sure if that's as intended or not. Seems ridiculous to grant an entire team basically Invincibility for 3 turns at the start. If you can Kill the Assassin Banshee quickly, then it goes away.
I have a feeling that it may be a type of bug because there is no way that a character should have a passive like that. It's as if the team has a cross between shroud and invincibility.
That is precisely how Assasin Banshee is designed, team her up with a blocker and that's a good team to start with, just add FFE and a reviver/hp refresher.
On Warrior Banshee Cef I have a fair degree of success with echo, more easily obtainable too... she hits the same target multiples of times even MLillith will collapse in a heap from her damage...
I have video captured it when I played Terek this morning, if I can figure out what cloud to put in on you can all take a look..

Hey Rags Yup Amarthir and everyone else, this blocking passive is real out of control for sure. Even after 3 rounds so tough to do anything to them. Just found that team and finished in 2 turns just disable passive. I used beast Eddie. Working on a new team to face all teams but still in progress, have had some luck against many FFE teams.
Best you can do is passive disable the blocker and beat the piss outta the Banshee till she dies and then you're good to go for the rest of the team. Pretty soon I bet they're gonna introduce a Silver passive disable just to combat some of the new stuff they're throwing in.
I have to play devil’s advocate here and say that It took me a little extra time to beat him but it wasn’t impossible. What you all are going through right now is exactly what I went through when Primordials were rampant. So many Iron Eddie/Prisoner/Magus Lillith builds. Many times I would get one turn before I was chain sealed/toxic burned/stunned/perfect corruption. I could do nothing against this build. I had no way to counter it at first. After a few weeks I started to find ways to beat it. Ironically Primordials Prisoner is a great way to help defeat this Assassin as well as...Sentinel Desert Marauder..(Rags is cringing). Just wait till after reset tonight when Dominance talismans will be added to all those builds and Assassin Banshee can wear those. I have also already seen her with Warlord and it can be a litte nasty with multiple hits. The same thing happened with HE/Alche/magus Lillith/Sekhmet builds. All those constant extra turns from Sekhmet fury and HE 3 turns plus passive disable (hint hint) all the time. It was hard to beat, for a while. Maybe Assassin Banshee needs tune maybe we just need to find a way to overcome it like we always do.
Just faced Tarek and beat him in under a minute and a half. Assassin Banshee passive states “Grant your allies..” it does not say “all” allies. So once I disable the passive on Assassin, Magus went down quick and then Assassin was easily next. Her passive does not affect her, only her allies.
I gotta say though 35% chance seems utterly silly. Appears to be more like a 75-95% chance. It's not impossible to overcome. But it is annoying.. when the area hasn't been annoying for a few weeks now. Guess they figured things were going good... lets mess them up again....
