Earn Moonchild Soul Fragments and other Rare Rewards in the Gauntlet.

Our fifth Gauntlet season starts now and will run until January 5th at 4pm PT. Battle through 11 Grades of Gauntlet, each presenting unique challenges and rewards to earn a place on our Ranked Leaderboard. The Ranked Rewards for Season 5 will feature Moonchild, in addition to other rewards.

You will have 10 weeks (until the end of Season 5) to earn enough Moonchild Fragments from the Gauntlet to summon him, after that he will be much more difficult to obtain, as he won’t be featured in any other soul.

Moonchild is a 5 star Assassin hero-class ally with extremely potent skills. As a Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, the forces of light and dark war for Moonchild’s soul, manifesting in his immunity to both negative AND beneficial effects! He can also Doom opponents, remove all Golden Effects, as well as Cleanse and Heal his allies! Awaken Moonchild and see his manifesting powers grow to even greater heights!

Players who make it to Grade A and above will also be awarded Final Frontier Eddie Fragments!

Final Frontier Eddie Fragments can be collected over several Gauntlet seasons. Once you have 1,000 Fragments, you will earn a Guaranteed Final Frontier Eddie.

Final Frontier Eddie is a 5★ Sentinel that is only available by collecting Fragments in the Gauntlet. Check out more on Final Frontier Eddie in his Character Discussions forum post.

But we can't log in. On Android too, not just iOS.

I just log in to the game and the Last rewards of the Gauntlet give me the old rewards of season 4: Wratchild fragments, Present Talisman, why the game don't give me the Radiant talisman and the heroic mythical soul fragments? :(

Beware running gauntlet right now. I just won a battle and at the victory screen I get one of the current common errors indicating having trouble connecting to the server.
After 4 minutes of the game being completely locked I get back in and I've been charged with TWO losses, not just one.
I'm in "C" and showing 2 losses now. I thought there was only one server hiccup so far, but either it counted twice or there was another battle that got recorded as a loss even though the system passed me to the next level.
I'm certain I have not lost a battle yet. This is really frustrating.

Is there a way to know what tickets have been submitted through the in-game support system? I included a 38mb video of the battle from start to finish showing the win, error, and everything but I have not gotten the normal email indicating they received the ticket.

And here I was under the impression that the pushed ios update was supposed to fix all that.

However good thing I normally don't bother to run gauntlet until the day before it is going to reset.

And now for your regularly scheduled broadcast. Well now this looks like an interesting over the top stat character that is going to be an absolute requirement in a later update. Of course the managing to get the little bugger is probably going to be even more annoying that getting Charlotte, the spinning dude, and maritimer put together.

Nope, the iOS ticket was about certain devices not being able to login at all. They addressed that (apparently working straight through the weekend) but NOTHING else. Not slow logins that completely fail half the time (Android included), not game freezing during battles/victory screens, not the broken achievements tab, not the non-functional Clans beta.

well now... Not sure why they didn't get more done. Not really any hockey on this weekend that would impact since the canucks game was friday.

What an interesting looking character. What benefits would they get from being immune to positive effects, must be some interesting combos there? Isn't there a character that does something bonus if one of their allies doesn't have any positive effects?

With the current state of development-inabilty, January 5th at 4pm PT. 2020 or 2021???

Full awakened he get a very strong passive: prevents whole team from server errors and causing random new bugs.

Some should wonder why are they releasing an awakenable assassin character..... Out of all the classes, Assassin and Warrior have the most awakenable characters (3 each) compared to other classes (2 each).. So why release a 4th Assassin class character rather than a Sentinel, Magus, or Gunner class which would allow users to utilize resources for awakening OTHER than assassin resources?? I can possibly see why not a gunner class, given the recent release of Wrathchild (which no one seemed stoked about). So in two weeks.. will the next Gauntlet character be an awakenable Warrior class character?

We were due an Assassin for the gauntlet and I can only assume that the devs thought to make this character more special

Okay, once more the gauntlet has become extremely hard to clear.

I’ve noticed it’s always hardest on the first cycle of the new season. They want you to panic and drop $30 on that starter pack.

Holy crap! My assassin team just got wiped out. I have made it to SS or SSS for the last several months. I know that AAA can be a stumbling block, but I've generally been able to make it through. I had no chance this time against the following team:
Van Helsing Eddie
Count Dracula
Purple werewolf (nasty damage on revenge)
Madam

I couldn't even make it to the point where I could damage. They had immunity and my attempt to disable passives never worked. Oh well. At least I don't have to worry about doing any work in the gauntlet for a couple weeks. I guess I will be getting Van Helsing today and could try him, but stupidly I wasted all my good characters.

Actually.... I always see it as the standard AI cycle....

You know sometimes in PVP the Ai just kicks your ass against teams you SHOULD be winning against? Same thing can happen in the Gauntlet. The AI seems to cycle through "intelligence" levels and at times uses just the right move at the right time repeatedly. If you wait 4-8 hours and try again, chances are the AI has cycled and the same team won't be as difficult.

This happened to be last Gauntlet "season".. I got essentially shut out at one battle in the second round of SSS.. NOTHING I was doing was even getting close. It made little sense. I wanted a couple days, went back in and wiped the team out fairly easily.. and then moved on. Same team.. just at a different time. My biggest hurdle is to NOT keep fighting when I get a loss. To avoid that compulsion to "win"... Because at those times, you can easily rack up 3-4-5 losses against the same team.. until the AI cycles again.

There's no proof of any of this.. it's all merely my observation.

Me too! The Assassin Werwolf has 35% chance of revenge, but he does revenge 100%.
The cheating Defense AI is the most fckg s'*** in this Bug-Game.
But...all the last Gauntlet Event Toons are lame, so it doesn't matter!

FYI.. damage blocking does not work again REFLECTED damage. Sure a character which deals true damage can be blocked by Orbit talismans.. but when a shield or character REFLECTS true damage, it's like Orbits aren't even there. The M Werewolf along with the Dragonscale talismans make this abundantly clear.

I don't get it...how is it possible to damage Van Helsing Teams? The info text says nothing about this.

"Prevent all allies from taking damage for the first two round of battle"

Whats the point? Prevent is not 100% prevent? In PvP I saw strange things happen to my Van Helsing Team. Some toons are breaking through this "prevent" f.e. Warrior LOL.

Because reflected damage.. or damage from negative buffs like Mark, Punishment, Fear.... all still do damage. Really he just prevents *direct attack damage* for 2turns. And at no point is he immune to the HP Block or W LOL.

This game is so full of illogic. For me: damage is damage. Van Helsing is so weak after these two rounds so what?
Character design was great 3 years ago, but now it's so noob.
Best thing is: the lack of communication and explanation from the devs...

Does anyone know the stats of Moonchild yet?

I assume the passive should read "combat damage". but of course as with life, and even moreso in this game, assumption is the mother of all fuck ups.... so who knows. But you can passive/perfect disable, you can use burns, marks, reflect from starfire, various other means that are not directly from an attack.

Mmm looks like Charlotte its the most chosen for pvp and the latest events... btw its not about time to drop a little the iron coins cost for this char? I mean, I started to play when she was released and there wasn't a wayfor a newby to obtain it. Now, buy al her fragments take really a lot of time and coins, and it's not a "new" char anymore, should be any consideration to make it more accessible? I don't know... some heroic rotation or something?

Fully agree. I see we were in the same position last year (and we are still:) ).

Either a discount in price or NF can do "an anniversary" rounds with gauntlet and "discount the IC price" by opening Charlotte/Ancient Mariner/Green rotary something/Wrathchild/Moonchild again - each for one gauntlet season (2 weeks). Even if we get only 100 frags for each character, it would be a tremendous help to us.

I think I misunderstood the post. For other characters like Charlotte or final frontier Eddie, we can earn fragments over several seasons. With moonchild we only get one season? That would make him impossible to get except for the top two or 3 players.

One season = ten weeks, I think. Each two weeks you earn frags to have enough by the end of the season.

where do i find Celestial awakening shards to max the Moonchild?

Currently there is only (1) Shinobi awakening shard available in the game (from achievement rewards) so I cannot max the Cosmic Shinobi. Now there are (0) Celestial Awakening shards available, so I cannot max my Moonchild.

Can we have an exchange program to trade LOL or Wicker Awakening shards for the Shinobi and Celestial?

When will you add slots to the shard management system so we dont cap out again? Since it looks like you intend to add a ton of unnecessary awakening shards for various characters, it will quickly max out our slots again. Why cant all characters just use "Awakening Shard" x3 and leave it universal? Does it need to be so complicated?

Hope a DEV is looking at these posts! I'd love some answers!

Had a strange thing at reset.

Scored SSS, but got S rewards.

Why ?

Because more than 300 people scored SSS, which renders the SS rewards unavailable since the ranking counts.

Not a complain, but the ranking rewards screen should forego the level mention since it's basically misleading.

the ranking rewards if u start to scroll will move to ur current ranking and the whole being in that grade yet not high in ranking numbers was huge problem in arena before they added more rank lvls but with gauntlet its 1st come 1st rewarded
