Anyone else agree with a little nerf on moonchild? Just changing their talismas slots to 2 yellow and 1 purple would prevent him to equip labyrinth talisma, what made him almost invencible, because you can't cause any effect on him and very hard to take damage with labyrinth. NF must be change de labyrinth usage on him, because its broken.
You can use the quantum talis, I already have a set but haven't try it yet, so, I don't know if they really work as I don't play too much in the arena.Quote:

Absolutely not, no nerfs. He’s useful in other areas besides Arena. Two players with Moonchild with Labyrinth can battle it out until there’s a winner or draw. If Quantum talismans aren’t effective (not sure or not) another set or character will be effective eventually. But nerfing a character a majority of players don’t have, just because he’s difficult and annoying to kill is not deserving of a nerf. Best to skip teams with him if you can’t kill him for now until a way to a way to kill him is found.
no nerf,just use prisoner against him with passive disable on start...
Quantum talisma its not effective, since a character with it can take a lot of damages, also, doesnt make a big difference, the problem its not arena, but gauntlet, you have to fight him a lot in SS and SSS grade, its true prisoner helps, but you cant use more than once time in gauntlet, when you face a team like this you'll understand. I use my moonchild against him, and just mine get eternally stuned by BHE. My BHE doesn't stun anyone, i dont know why, but the AI always get more advantage.

A few things: Yes, moon child is powerful. However, he's supposed to be. All of the Max Awakened characters take a lot of effort to get, Moonchild especially considering he's locked in the Gauntet. I think if anything needs nerfing, it's Labyrinth Talismans as a whole. Until then, use Quantums or other multi hitting characters such as Necropolis. Now, as for Ip4's comment about the Beast's new combo, there are ways to get around it. For instance, the Red Valkyrie gives your whole team burn and freeze immunity. Dragonscale talismans stop burns, and some characters are immune to burns with passives. I do agree that it is a powerful setup though.
No worries. He is the meta now, and he will rule until the next character or talisman will show up as a counter and take over the throne. I remember the days where Mummy Eddie was ruling the arena.
Mummy Eddie ruled the arena? When was that? I remember Vampire Hunter was the first real meta character.
When he was used to stun or taunt mainly, those days 35% chance was a lot. Also makes me remember Sparton's SSD.

In your picture, the Moonchild is fairly easy to kill. The problem with Moonchild is the combination of labyrinth to prevent most hits and vampiric to full heal when moonchild lands a single attack. You cannot restrict moonchild from wearing a specific cosmic talisman, so you need to restrict him from wearing labyrinth.... OR, alternatively you could add to his passive something that prevents him from healing. You could give him protection from MaxHP reduction and "may not be healed" as a control method. But without Vampiric Cosmic, he is pretty easy to kill...not quickly, but he dies every time.Quote:

In that picture, the enemy team has hallowed eddie... which passive disables. I cant see the rest of the team, and i cant see what they are wearing, but that alone at least can explain how your anubis has PD allowing your team to get permadeath. Also if you notice, your BREEG does NOT have permadeath, because the Brave set is preventing it. Aside from every character having a 2 turn PD on both teams (which could be explained buy a character off screen somewhere i guess), I dont see anything wrong with your battle.... ok well there are things wrong, like the shields floating around everyone even though you have no buffs... etc. but nothing like what you are discussing.Quote:

The game still has a lot of bugs with passive block and passive abilities.
So the passive % is bs, i've had at least 8 matches and every single one his atk does passive disable; angel: starfire, Hallowed: viper & shock, moonchild: Forge & freezing, Killer prime: grail and not sure the 2ndAttachment 7267

In the following picture I have used beast eddie to apply passive disable to everyone but it is not working against the said toons. It is the first turn and I won the toss. No singularities on the enemy team.

In passive description of moon and alex its said only cause on the beggining of first turno, so prisoner should work, but its not working after the update. Only works in benefit of game AI.Quote:

The Prisoner WAS disabling passives first turn.. in fact, he ignored Singularity talismans.... up until the last update.
In the last update, in an attempt to fix broken Singularity talismans, they broke the Prisoner's ability to passive disable.
Now, he doesn't inflict Passive Disable on anyone for any reason whether or not Singularities are present.
He is today. I have him at Full. Max materials drop in a January dungeon.

First issue is that quantum wearer is guaranteed to die first turn. The 6 set doesnt do enough to keep the wearer alive.
Second, if he stays alive long enough to attack, I have not seen the talisman set do ANYTHING to the lab wearer. I am not sure, but I think the extra hits are still affected by the lab 60% miss. When you do get some extra damage from them, it is so minute that it is irrelevant. Combine that with moonchild doing 1 attack and healing full with the vampiric cosmic and you have a sure loss, every time.
Obviously, I dont need to explain why marks aren't an acceptable option.
Exactly, this was what I talking about, plus the passive bugs, these things made some challenges of gauntlet almost invencible, just 1 or 2 comps could have a chance to defeat this teams, but because of no refresh character restriction its very difficult to pass.Quote:
