What is this topic for? It pains me to watch what is happening with the game now. Let's leave all the connection errors aside, this has always been a Lotb chip. I don’t like the way we are moving. As one of the troopers said - it has ceased to please, bring pleasure.
This is the beginning of the topic, I want to go through all aspects of the game: arena, gauntlet, plot. Maybe it's in vain. Say no further messages. I know that there are separate threads, but sometimes I want to say everything at once. Do not jerk off. Cut off the entire tail at once, not in parts. honestly we have had 6 big ironite spends in 1 month new event makes 6 (all 6 have required players to spend huge amounts of ironite for the toons in them) i feel like nf is trying to use the ea sports lootbox guide but honestly i dont like the way its going events are needing more and more time and ironite and the actual rewards are very half assed most the time so far the best reward i have seen on these events has been a Iron eddie the rest has just been chances for anything out ot each soul im just gonna drop some examples below to make sure you get freya you need 75 souls
so 900 ironite ×7 6300 thats normally a lot for 1 toon never mind

maurder souls so thats 18900 ironite and that dosnt even include the SoT costs for the fc dungon grind and guns for days
so in perspective its £80 for 4k ironite that means you need £320 for 16k ironite but for the last batch of 2900 you need to spend another 80 quid for 4k or spend more buying 2 1800's and 1 300
so thats £400/€456/493$
that dosnt include what you would spend on SoT my point is its time to revamp the ironite section of the store its not changed in 4 years and thats before you consider all the talisman packs that are stupidly overpriced

Each has its own reasons. I’m only talking about what is wise to do once a month for three days
How about restructure arena events so your not punished for being in the top tiers
Why is it wise to lose on purpose to make it easier for others to gain benefits. Some want to be as high in the arena at any cost. What if they dont want to earn the challenge rewards, what benefits them to lose?
Do you gladly kill a Odin at 10% health to benefit others in your clan or do you wait for someone to clear it or expect the person who failed to clear the dungeon.
Because it is a common benefit, and not for anyone alone. It is not serious to talk about the benefits. How much will you lose or gain in 3 days?Quote:

Why do you say three days? Not everyone can do three hundred arena battles in three days. You are looking at what everyone else can gain. Everyone plays their own game for thier own goals. If I wanted to run in the top twenty a weak defense would make that impractical.
I know running a weak defense can gain you more IC, event rewards, and possibly higher rank with revenge. Someone may want to stay a higher rank while only running a few battles a day, so that could be a reason not to run a weak defense.
Perhaps fewer days. I mean only tasks (class, debuffs).
Next, let everyone understand himself, as far as possible (number of battles)
Even 100 battles in three day for the blue and purple challenge may be difficult for many. Not everyone has thousands of SoW stockpiled. In the past 300 wins with no restrictions was much easier to complete. Having to use certain talisman, inflict debuffs and overall wins will be difficult for many to complete in three or fewer days.
You yourself say: each has its own reasons and goals. Three days is better than nothing. Nobody will help forever.
And now, in this conversation there is little point. Everything will be as it will be. I have a weak team now. As soon as I take mine, I will replace it
That's not to helpful to the community. Once you get what you want, you abandon good will.
I think it will last just 3 days. So, I'm just honest.
Are there any rules?
i usually have my weak defense up all the week, even if i complete all challenges. i don't care since i only aim for top 150 and 4100ish points and this is easy even with 0% defense holds.
i wouldn't blame anyone for playing their own game and do whatever he wants, but if you are not top competitive in the arena it okay to help the others a bit with reaching their goals. it's a fair compromise, but again, everyone can do what he likes....
I just wish they'd address the crashing... so much crashing... everything is much less fun when the app crashes repeatedly.
it's not just the crashing, it's the constant bugs where you spend ages selecting teams for odin beat him then don't get any rewards especially if another enters the same dungeon at the same time, getting locked out of Odin every friday/saturday rollover, buy clan souls open clan souls to get 7 x 1* hearts and frags to open next soul, open that and 3* heart and 140 frags epic already at 260/280 but those 140 frags frags not showing.. log out wait about an hour log back in still not there, uninstall, reinstall log in still not there...... so take my tribute but dont give me what i should have got
Agree 100%. I have almost always put up a weak defense all week for these events, and this week will be no exception. It definitely makes it easier for me to get more wins quickly. But, even after I hit my own goals, I'm happy to help the community hit theirs. To me, that is more important than a slightly higher rank (with a negligible difference in arena rewards).Quote:

I can easily beat the majority of them. The only “courtesy” of putting a weak defense up during events is it shortens battles so more wins can be racked up quicker.
The really funny thing is that if you're going to put in the time be competitive in arena all those wins you rack up will quickly outweigh any defense losses. Arena has never been a test of skill.
It has only ever tested a handful of things
- Your luck in pulling meta toons (now kind of defunct that most meta toons get introduced with a way to outright buy them)
- Your ironite reserves for refreshes (used to be needed for a bunch of Sands of Time but now with dungeons handing those out refreshes are the primary spending point)
- The time you are willing to sink in to a bugged portion of this app
If you have the meta toons, ironite and most importantly the time and patience your defense becomes less and less relevant the more you have of those things.
Just since the refresh I have dropped from 3000 points to 1800ish and have already made that back plus gained a little bit and all with a week defense and only free list refreshes.
I'll keep that weak defense hopefully all the way up to the end of the event. The only thing that will cause me to change is if I'm having trouble staying above that 3000 point mark. I'll live with 20 less ironite than usual from my arena rewards for this week.
Defense is only relevant in the slightest if you are ranking top 100 and going for better than top 100 finish. And with how the matchup system works, all that ends up only affecting those players in top 100 or close to it.
