Battle in the Arena and Gauntlet for rare rewards!

From now until June 14th at 5PM PT, complete new event challenges on the Challenges screen. These reward you for completing specific objectives in the Arena and Gauntlet. Objectives include winning Arena battles using specific abilities and talismans and clearing Gauntlet Grades!

If you belong to a Clan, you will also see additional Ancient Dreams Event Challenges. These are distinguishable by their green border and special icons. This event features Clan Group Event Challenges which will count the efforts of all members of your Clan towards the ultimate goal!

Rewards include various Gunner Awakening Shards, Thor Eddie Fragments, Powerslave Awakening Shards and new Dream Talismans.

The Gunner and Powerslave Awakening Shards can be put towards powering up the newly Awakenable Osiris!

Dream Talismans are blue talismans with a 4 set effect that is not available anywhere else! Equip them for the following effects:
25% Chance to avoid taking damage. Take 50% Reduced damage when successfully hit. Revive an ally with 60% HP and Endure for 2 turns when they die. Can only trigger once per ally in battle.

Many Ancient Dreams event challenges will also provide Forged Soul Fragments.

Forged Fragments are the event currency of the Forge of Destiny Mega Event.

Trade your Forged Fragments in the Mega Store for rare rewards including Freya Cosmic Talismans and Odin himself!

**BONUS: For the duration of this event, Eternity Soul Fragments you earn from the weekly Arena resets can be traded for Eternity Talismans!

Eternity Talismans are purple talismans with a 5 set effect that is not available anywhere else! Equip a full set for the following effects: Grant Perfect Hit to all allies at the start of battle for 2 turns. Grant Physical, Magic, and True Block to self for 1 turn if Perfect Hit, Regen, or Charge is present at the start of your turn. Remove All Beneficial Effects, including Golden Effects, Stun, and inflict Perfect Disable for 1 turn on a random enemy if Passive Disable is active on any enemy at the start of your turn. Fully heal and removes Doom effects from all enemies if the wearer of this talisman has the Shawl of Styx passive.

  Eternity Relics grant players up to a 50% increase in HP, Attack and Magic stats in the Arena for a limited time. There are two kinds: Eternity Arms (Increase Stats on your Arena Offense Team) and Eternity Armor (Increase Stats on your Arena Defense Team).
  
  Please note: Each Eternity Relic can be purchased twice and will expire 2 weeks after they are purchased (Note: Earning additional levels of these Relics will refresh the timer!). These Relics will not increase stats in the Gauntlet.

Notes on Clan Event Challenges:

Players can join a Clan part way through an event in order to obtain these extra Event Challenges.

If you are removed from your Clan, or choose to Leave a Clan during the event, you will no longer be able to participate in the Clan Event Challenges. After the 24 hour cooldown you can then join a different Clan. This will give you access to any active Clan Event Challenges, and any Clan Group Challenges will be updated to the current total for your new Clan. If the Clan has already completed and claimed a Clan Group Challenge, the new member will not be able to claim that reward. Players will not gain double rewards by Clan hopping.

anyone have the events list? i cant get in to check it.

We are 4/9 of the way through the event list on the 7th and all 4 of those are running at the same time.

Once again proving pacing of events is still something that needs to be addressed.

I'm so glad there are no events to complete with all these server restarts. We'd never be able to play them if there were....

Gauntlet battles with only magus are not been counted!

Also: Is it "Play 500/1500/3000 Arena battles" or "Win 500/1500/3000 Arena battles" for clan?

I am getting conflicting reports from my clan that it looks like it's "Win" while the text says "play", which doesn't imply you need to WIN.

Same here, Magus-only Gauntlet battles are not counting. I don't know wheter to stop playing until it's fixed or to keep on and hope that the battles already done eventually count

I jst fought 42 Magus-only Guantlet battles myself and the clan achievement still reads "12" total.

F through to SS all Magus fights ... none of them seemed to count...

I'd accept that maybe one or two where I use a cosmic magus character may not have counted... but all 42 just ignored?

Magus only are not counting! I made it all the way to S using only magus and they didn't count! Ughhh

Why is it that it seems that none of the NF staff are around in the first couple of hours after the daily reset to answer questions, note down things, even just respond to people and say "we know about it and are working on a fix"?

What you gonna do to fix this? what happens with the battles we already did? Why there is no communication from you in the official forum?

And you see, if they didn't release events at 5pm US time (when it seems they all bugger off), someone might actually be around to fix it!

I dont know why they have a reset at the end of a typical workday,. If they did it in the middle of the workday they may have more resources to address problems. This of course wouldnt help when they release new events on weekends or holidays.

Better than having to do the all Magus challenge in gauntlet across a clan IMHO.

Exactly (as I've mentioned elsewhere).

The whole game reset time is wrong. Should really be their morning, not end of day.

That way: Just before they leave (the day before), they queue stuff up, then when they get in the next morning, they push the button to release. Something goes wrong, people are there right away to act.

This is pretty much the common sense way to do stuff like this. Pretty much the same thing as "Don't deploy a change on a Friday".

Well, I think they do check in a bit.. that's why there are often 3 or 4 "hot fixes" a hour or two after an event.. or most events any more. But those that "check in" aren't the one's responsible for "community outreach" so they aren't going to post anything.

As if we didn't have enough events already.... it's ok to slow things down a little.

UPDATE: Have updated the chart to show the clan challenged are all WIN and no longer PLAY. They all should be working as intended now.

Hot fix is supposedly live but my clan's totals aren't updated to reflect actual value. Gauntlet battles aren't exactly a renewable source. Especially once you get to S levels.

If we weren't going to get values fixed why bother keeping this broken achievement?

So were my 42 battles then added to the challenge number???

If not, I'd like a reset of the Gauntlet for me...

FWIW: Text of Arena battles for clans changed to "Win" from "Play".

Just mentioning that in case it slipped past everyone's notice.

So, what happens with the Gauntlet battles we already did?

Arena battles are so buggy that I only managed to complete 2K wins with my clan. I don't know how most of you did achieve the 4th Dream talisman, maybe it's just a matter of making a bigger effort

Basically deliberately losing a bunch of arena battles to drop in rank, so weaker opponents were available.

Total grind, and cos it's Arena, it wasn't like you could set up a team and then go do something else either, so it was all manual grind.

Gotta say, the fun and the challenge has really gone from this game. It's now almost always just about the grind.

I'm at 28xx and getting only fully awakened teams being offered. I've only been able to battle my defences, as many weak defence teams are attacking me.

I found this to be a challenging arena event as well. I intentionally dropped down to 3200ish in rank and was still coming up against some of the same max awakened upper tier talisman teams I was seeing in top 100 ranks. I have no idea why. I did find a decent variety of teams in the 1000s, but like Cefiar said, it was a very manual event. I saw very few easy defenses the entire climb through the ranks which surprised me. I don't understand why people below rank 1500 or so would run hard defense teams. Maybe not part of the boards or social media to understand the benefits of running an easier D during arena events.

I kept a weak defense the entire week. Much of my ability to complete the challenges was due to those attacking me also running weak defenses because there were none on my attack lists. Some users get it... most at the top just don't. I still finished above Rank 35.

I do the same. I've generally been able to get King II or King III without having to tackle a whole pile of max awakened teams just by getting repeated revenges with players who also post a weak defense. During the arena event, I did notice there were a few more high-ranked players posting soft defences, but not a lot more.
