Alright, so there's a lot to go through here. Let me get the bad out of the way first, this time.
New awakening shards for Storm Eddie are crap, considering Cyborg Shards have been labeled as the "BNW and Cyborg character" shards for years now. To randomly have a new shard (which likely will only be used for him) sucks. Same goes for Hallowed Ed; why wouldn't he use Hallowed and Ale shards?
Otherwise, everything else looks to be really good for this update.
First off, the nerfs to GotN and Coalgiver were 100% warranted and necessary. GotN has been a plague in the Arena for so long now, and it's caused the meta to become centered around dealing with his stupid passive. Coalgiver also was far too easy to get wins with, so now the meta should open up a bit more.
I will say, the one issue I have with GotN's nerf is that he's basically the same awakened vs. unawakened now. Like, there's no reason to awaken him with the changes made. I suppose some of his abilities get better, but now he's in tiers with Dracula for least changes made during awakening.
Bespoke Talismans being able to evolve into higher tiers is amazing, and it makes things a lot easier for newer players to upgrade theirs over time.
Rainmaker Eds buffs look good, but they still have a bit to go imo. Instant kills have no real counter right now, so sending him in alone could lead to death against a team with just 1 set of Gemini talismans. Speaking of which, the Gemini talisman fix looks pretty good too.
Awakening shards being put into older dungeons is super nice as well, means we don't have to dump endless awakening souls.
Storm Eddie's buffs look decent, it'll definitely bump up his ranks on my tier list. I am curious about his awakened passive though.
Hallowed Eddie has had such an interesting history in this game, being buffed and nerfed consistently until he got to his current state. I am really curious about how he will function after this update.
The High Virtue fixes will make them actually pretty useful against certain comps, so that's really nice to see.
Overall, pretty happy with the changes coming in this patch. I think overall there are a lot of good things, but again those awakening shards always suck just a bit to see.
I can only agree with GrimDusk. Yeah, new wakey shards are lousy ...otherwise really good changes.
I would like to just add one thing regarding the removal of gun/assassin soul from Satellite 15. I was actually quite happy to get those souls for free somewhere in the game.
Let me explain it. When I started playing the game, I didn't care for natural 1* and 2* toons, so I sacrificed them all. After playing for a year, I started collecting (all) toons. So I realised that, after having completed all missions (the souls were a reward there), I have to buy gun/assassin common souls with Trooper Badges if I want to collect all those 1* and 2* gun/assassin toons. But then it was nice to see that these souls were rewarded in the Satellite 15. And now you remove them again for higher rank players. Can you maybe just reduce the drop rate?

You are told to improve the interaction of game processes. You introduce new characters, new mascots. Then please, increase the number of slots. 800 is not enough for me. I have teams of 20-30 to beat 10 Buff and Amu. Without rearranging the talis. And I don't have enough space. This is my optimization. Because I don't have enough time. [removed by mod]

Sounds good, doesn't work. (just saying, so others are not fooled to believe this) Manually? Sure, with the proper team. On Auto and any characters? Nope. I mean, you probably can do it a few times with some luck, but it'll never be 100%.

Anyone else spotted this guy lurking in the Featured section of the Store... Yours for 9k Ironite guaranteed or a chance from each soul... Only 28 hours on the clock though.

Yep, 250x ironite thingy in the sacrifice store is gone, and I don't think Muisca Priest Eddie is meant to be there... methinks he's the chase character for the "Golden Luck" or whatever the name is of the event later this month. He looks really cool though, and his skillset seems interesting... he's like a souped up Visions of Edoardo, seeing as most of his skills share names with lines from El Dorado as well.
Is mucar Ed only via souls avaible? I mean 100 souls..

I very rarely write anything here, only if it burns very badly.
We are waiting for clarification of the situation with ironite in the sacrificial store.
We are also waiting for an increase in the number of slots for runes and shards, since with each new type of awakening shards we have to sell 999 experience shards.
And please add awakening music shards to awakening souls or any dungeon, because we are tired of keeping the Drifter in a purple state for the third month.

This seems to be something that devs don't want to address, but....can we get some clarity here? I think a lot of people are going to have some pretty worthless sac. frags from here on out. Spends go down?
They confirmed on Facebook that it was an intentional move to not have Ironite in the Sac store but it may return in future (I think that's roughly what the wording was; can't find the post now as it was a reply to someone else's comment on something).
The problem with removing the ironite (aside from the fact that they did it with 0 warning, or any adjustment to players losing a giant chunk of income) is the fact that they didn't do it immediately and so some players now have major unfair advantage of having that 2.5k Ironite.

BTW, they also removed the Ironite (50) from the Events Tab of the Store, you know, which you can get each week for 100 monthly event currency (currently Chaos Orbs).
I know people are frustrated by the removal of the ironite for sacrifice store item. I'm disappointed too. But, if the ironite economy is broken, this is probably one of the better ways to fix it. Consider the alternatives:
1) Increase the cost of Sands of Time.
2) Make events cost more Sands of Time (more grinding).
3) Make events give less currency per Sand of Time (also more grinding).
If a result of them removing 2500 ironite per month is that we can do the events with less grinding, then it's a net positive, not a negative. It's especially positive for newer players.
So far, we've only had one datapoint, but the first grind-heavy event of the month was substantially cheaper (ironite-wise) than any of the grind events in February. One data point does not make a trend, but if this IS a trend, it's well worth the cost of losing a source of ironite.
@Tsuketa it's not about the removal per-se, but the total and absolute shadiness of the act, this is a major change with ZERO communication for the players.
It's actually offensive to the player base. Lack of communication on changes like this are, definitely, not OK and fair to the players, plus the fact that some players did get the opportunity to buy the whole pack and other don't, just aggravates the matter.
I agree that it would have been better if they had told us ahead of time. And I'm sure they've heard that message. It's not like they can go back in time and choose to give us a heads up. I'm trying to move on from there.
That is the problem my friend, I am also trying to move on, but that's the issue, they know they will get away with it, just like several other times some stealth nerf happened.
Just like the "increased drop rate" on the current event, sorry devs, math is a science and anyone can see that the drops are definitely not improved when doing/checking the SoT/Currency ratio. Nice try.
But hey, they say in the news that the rate is improved right? Propaganda is a very powerful thing... Work on real life world serious matters and in mobile games also.
I'm pretty pragmatic about these things. If the enjoyment I get from an activity isn't worth the time I spend on it, then I stop. If the activity is making me outright angry, it's really unlikely that the enjoyment/time ratio is good enough.
For me, I enjoy LOTB enough to not get worked up about these changes. When I stop enjoying it, I'll just stop playing.

Now it's not possible anymore. Is it a bug or a decisission taken by developpers?
It was a good way to get ironite. Expensive but usefull.

Developers removed it at this time. They have agreed they'll look into returning it in the future but at this time it's gone. The ironite from the event store has been removed at this time as well.
