Fastest clearing of Game of Death

I want to play a game... :D

Let's see who can come up with the team that can clear Game of Death the fastest!
Rules:
1. Use a stopwatch (you can use Google's) to measure your attempts.
2. The timer should start when the Options/Speed/Auto-Play UI shows in the beginning of the level.
3. Game settings should be Auto-play, x2 speed, Madness difficulty.
4. The timer ends when you land the last killing blow.
5. There must be at least 8-10 iterations of the same team clearing the level.
6. The end result is the average time of those iterations.

I will do some runs with a few different team to see what I get. I have run one set of 8 already with Samurai plus Troll and Nomad (Warrior Team) - just need to stick it in Excel! Don't think I will beat your times though. I used auto x2 on GoD Madness. Will report back later on.

Sorry to interrupt you guys, but wrong time to do tests like that, while we play after a bugged update :cool:

Some chars these days are either not working, or are heavily bugged as the rainmaker (sorry hypnos). I give 2% the rainmaker was intended to hit for 24k without affinity and 33k with affinity (unbuffed).....and if I'm wrong i'm flying to Canada with a shotgun myself :cool:

I actually did those tests a while ago (before the patch) so the 2 teams' scores are legit.
Also, the gunner team was not fully skill sharded, I'll do another 10 iterations if I decide Desert Marauder is worth sharding to test the difference.

You should also specify it's Madness difficulty just in case there are rules lawyers here.

Sounds like a cool way to pass the time though. I'll try this in a few days once I'm done farming for Holy Talismans.

Doing it on manual might be quite interesting too once we have done some auto? I have never really compared too much as auto is super stupid most of the time but it gets a job done. I do wonder if they could make AI better but massively fear that too as it may implode the game.

Golden son's not sharded yet though. I believe that if his basic attack is at full shards I can get maybe 10-15 sec off the timer, also the burn talismans are broken right now and don't nearly proc as much as they should.

Well this started as my own personal test to see which character combo is best for farming Game of Death so I lose the least possible time/day on auto-farming. We could try some manual, but I doubt it will be as good, as you'll probably be able to 1-shot all the enemies with the right character set and 100% perfect attacks.

Try Nomad, Soldier Eddie and Red Bat.

I get around 45-55 secs doing those 3.

I'll post later today/tomorrow my times.

Soldier and Bat are close to or fully sharded. Nomad has no shards. I used to use Wickerman, but Nomad passive is better.

That is very fast on auto! I have Wickerman at 100 but not sorted out all his talisman yet so will take a look at that soon.

This is good team, with both support toons dealing solid damage with both their basic & power attack.

My team of Grim Reaper Eddie, Angel of Fear & Assassin Golden Son have been averaging around 1:25, but they're built for the Arena, so a lot more health talismans than I used to have for just farming.

This is an interesting thread, though. I guess I should try a few other combinations to speed up farming.

Also, this is making me watch my farming team more, and it's frustrating how often the AGS casts Endure when it's not needed, or AoF & GR use a single target attack when AOE would better and vice-versa. And of course using a Fury when there's one guy left who's already almost dead.

Averaging between 32-36 seconds using Soldier Eddie, Warrior Golden Son, and Wickerman.
All are fully sharded with max skills and maxed-out Talismans. :)

I was able to beat Lol X Assassin the other day in one straight shot, without the enemies getting even one shot in. I did have my Rocket Dog in there as well, who is a 3rd of the way skill sharded. They are built for maximum attack, but I doubt that I will survive PvP with this team, even though I have 2 Health Talismans on my Wickerman and Rocket Dog...guess we'll have to wait and see when the time comes.

My Warrior GS is maxed on ATK...all 6 Strength Talismans. He and the Wickerman are fully skill-sharded.

If the AI plays the skills properly and uses the Wickerman's Power skill at the right times, then I am at the lower end of the time scale (32-34 secs).

That being said, I love your AoF trooper, Arcturus...he can nearly single-handedly wipe out the boss on Powerslave Madness. I farm that level the most to get through all my troopers quickly with the least amount of SoT and the most return in Gold and XP.

Here is the summary of my tries with Nomad, AoF, and Soldier Eddie.

2x speed on auto. Seconds rounded up.

Nomad 2 rounds of attack boost, really helps.

We have to remember though, the game mechanics (scaling of Eddie Damage) are broken now, so these aren't likely to be representative once that is addressed.

These quick times though making grinding quick at least.

I just tried with Soldier Eddie. Wickerman and the Red Bat and got like 38 sec.

It seems like if I bring 2 additional eddies along the ride the buff stacking is better versus going with only 3 toons?

Can anyone else confirm or has anyone else noticed this?

On second thought, maybe not...after some more testing don't see this as having an effect.

Better results with Wickerman though. That's a plus.

New record for me today...26 seconds with my same team as before - Soldier Eddie, Warrior GS, Wickerman!!!

No doubt that it is unfair due to the buffs being stacked. The Wickerman raises ATF and DEF, and the AI played all skills beautifully that round. Not a single enemy got a turn in, not even on the last round when the magus CoTD usually survives the first attack wave.

Man, that was one crazily one-sided battle...complete wipeout!

@IceManFerrar, thanks for confirming my theory - fully sharded and /w max talismans, this team wreaks havoc! I doubt I'll put in the time to shard these toons, cause I'm focusing on PvP teams right now, but it's good to know what they can do when you unlock their full potential :)

I'm thinking of a few more team comps to try out but I doubt I'll have better time results.
