And while it's not directly related to the tuning:
- We are of course going to have a wealth of other bug fixes for the next update, including fixes for various combat hangs (including reflection issues from Thorn Shields and similar)
- We will have increased capacity for character and talisman inventories (still sorting out the exact details for how much, though)

cool that you try to even the eddies out a little more. a slight nerf to VHE seems reasonable as the buff for rainmaker and shaman and other chars. would like to see some decrease in wraths basic move though, i think he will still be slightly too strong compared to others even his powermove will take a well deserved hit ;-).
aside this cool that we will see more missions/archievments, more slots, talismans and finally the long awaited fixes for thorns and combat hangs...oh yeah and better pumpkins ofc...
what i really dislike we have to wait till the end of the month, it the update comes out earlier...
Rainmaker changes look interesting, and normally characters that I've got get nerfed rather than improved, so that's nice. BNW achievement is laughable considering how unstable it is. Hopefully the disappearing controls are among the big fixes.
Now that you're tweaking Rainmaker, are you going to do something about his def/mr ? I mean, 70 is just hilarious and the number doesn't increase with his levels. (If this is a reported bug, just scroll by ;))
i agree here while the changes are heading in the right direction i fear he will still be pretty useless. maybe some more tweaks are needed to rise him to the level of VHE and AHE. his fury is kinda weakish, the stats too. skills are also mostly like VHEs but less usefull, because he is weak himself.
how about if "crackle" would give perfect immunity to him and to up to one or 2 random allies of for 2 turns? or if favor removes up to 2 beneficials from one enemy. his fury might revive one random ally with will health or give perfect immunity or heal like hell. maybe even alltogether? come on guys, many more ways to make him usefull than this. you are only going the 50% path i feel ;). sure he shouldn't be ridiculously OP but pretty strong for one of the rarest character in game...
Already bringing VHE down when I get him lol, but it's not a terrible nerf thankfully. And a nice buff to characters that I have for once is cool, now I feel more involved in improvements. Those Fate Talismans sound like they'll be heavily sought after. Likely will be made for Rainmaker Eddie. Well back to scouring for him, but my motivation will be based off of how the arena changes. Increasing the scaling for CG's stun is a testy move, but we'll see how it plays out. I have a couple pumpkins already so I wonder how much of a scale they're getting. I wonder, will Val's Disruption shields be a part of her passive? That would make her pretty great.
All in all, a very progressive tuning update.
I’m sorry but these changes to Rainmaker are not nearly enough, considering he is a freaking 5 STAR assassin. I have a fully sharded one and I am pissed these are the “upgrades” he is getting. For one, give him only true damage attacks, not this mixed damage crap. His new stab skill is worthless, GRE has a way better heal block skill that hits everyone with a better % chance. If it did true damage then that would be an understandable trade off. His fury will still suck cause it does nothing other than attack. Make it hit everyone and then that would be interesting. The reason everyone uses VHE is because his fury revives everyone and grants critical strike. Also if you don’t change his A.I. then none of this matters as he is easily the dumbest Eddie in the game. You guys fixed Aces High but this is a fucking joke and you guys added another skill level. Jesus he already took 32 skill shards.
There are some subtleties to his kit now that should make him competitive with other Assassin / Gunner Nat 5. Aside from doing the most damage of any character, he will be especially good against Gunners and other high SP units due to his new damage scaling.
It will indeed be updated due to his new kit.
No additional skill levels have been added to Rainmaker. The Skill "Stab" itself (which exists on another character) gained a new skill level to ensure that any skill shard investments into Rainmaker currently were not lost.
Kaz-Sparton Any final decision about the pvp feature showing the attack team
The feature is largely operating as expected (i.e. allowing players to improve and adapt their defenses to increase their success rates based on the meta at their given division), so there are currently no plans to change it.
We'll continue to keep an eye on how things pan out at the higher divisions. There may be something more specific that we'd possibly implement there (like a "sneak attack" option), but nothing currently planned.

So is Claim now fixed to heal 10% regardless of the number of marks applied? Or is it in the sense that it's 10% for 0-1 marks and 20% for 2 marks, 30% for 3 marks and so on?
Another nerf for Wrath .. at least could you consider a buff for his useless fury ?

Are Guard Shields supposed to generate fury from reflected damage? I e, when I have reflective shields() on and the enemy have guard shield(s), the guard shield generates fury when they attack me and get some damage reflected back on them. Is this intended or a bug that will get fixed? Either way, I hope you'll change it as it doesn't make sense and makes for a very easy exploit of defenses with Warrior Troll.

Yeah, with their estimation of end of October for this update, we are looking at 2-3 more weeks with bugged thorn and cyclone talismans. As it is you can likely get a pretty good hold rate by just putting some thorn and/or cyclone sets on your defense along with a toon with perfect hit passive.
@Sparton @Kaz, please take a look at the current bug list and match it to your in-house system, there have been many changes since the last patch.
I don't see some apparently easy fixes included on the preliminary list, i.e. the AoS skill misspelling and UI catching clicks when it shouldn't (referenced as double/delayed click), but this are minor grips.
Please make freeze and talisman fixes a top priority, many passives need a good look as well.

Wraths fury flat out sux! As it stands, it would be better if he didn't have a fury at all.
Some good things in this update. Nice to see some other toons get buffed, but don't like the nerfs.
More nerfs to VH isn't cool. I know has been over used in the arena, but buffing other toons could swing things without nerfing him further. Example: Aces was used well in the arena this week. This should be the goal without resorting to nerfs imo (Wrath as well for that matter). Let's not continue to force once great toons to the bench. VH is great in those difficult BNW levels as well.
The bugs need to be priority #1.
Its true Wrath's fury is bad. Been trying to make it useful in pvp but that's a stretch.

any chance that we get the 2x xp boost back for 50k gold? it was extremly handy and since we get a ton of toons with all these events it would really be a nice move.
no sane person would pay 100 ironite for it, but the 50k were a cool deal. would be happy if you would consider it at least.
To make pvp playable thorns and red bat must be fixed ASAP. These two things are unjustly boosting hold rates for those who feel compelled to use them.
I have lost more matches to the glitches involved with thorns and red bat than matches I have legitimately lost. Just plain stupid.
I’ve wised up and I no longer fight teams with red bat on defense. Thorns on the other hand cannot be easily avoided since you cannot see them prior to the match starting.
These should be priority 1 and 2 if NF is aiming for a fair and balanced pvp environment.
sparton might ban me from the forums for this one, but i think i have found a logical flaw in the sacrifice system :D
let's say we do a L6 and get 3x one legenday for 3 legendaries in total (maximum i belive).
let's compare this with a level 7 where 3x two legendaries can drop for 6 in total (also maximum i belive).
so the quantity has doubled but we have to invest 2,5 times the essence? that's ugly!
counter actions:
1. let up to 3 legs drop (yeah i'm a greedy bastard)
2. lower the requirement for L7 to 40k essence
the other drops are in order btw ;)

Well, a lot of the gold deals were priced with the understanding that it was a sale; some exclusive items clearly on the expensive side, and others way cheaper than they'd otherwise be.
That said, I can look into it and see if there's something that makes sense, either as an occasional deal or something that can stick around as a persistent bonus.
You're not accounting for the fact that getting 3x Legendary Souls from a T6 sacrifice is far less likely than 6x Legendary Souls from a T7 sacrifice.
that would be awesome, yeah 50k were prolly a little on the low end, hope you will figure out something cool, that really motivated me to level up chars and BBQ them on the altar...
that's an argument, but does this change the imbalance itself? i don't think so ;) and to be honest i prefer every other drop over the legendary as many other players too, but that might be a matter of taste. i still think you slightly overrate the value of the legendary soul. but at least they are not as rare anymore and in addition with sacrifice it's much much better than months ago...so all in all not that much to say against it aside the imbalance :)
Rainamker Eddie's changes are ridiculous if they were supposed to be an improvement . He will still be a useless Eddie for an ultra rare 5*
Many things to debate here but I'll go with the closest to me...
Good to see some love for the Rainmaker but too many of his moves necessitate to be set up... Fervor, new crackle, new rain ect... With 70 Def/Mr & under 6k base HP He's not in position to set up anything, he'll probably be dead before having time to use it... Maybe with the new purple set he'll get some grip but he's too easily taken down no matter what skills he's having... To me, he's in dire need for some survivability over anything else, you have to build whole team around him just to make it through first turn.. Doing 30k damages is pointless if you can't deliver it.. With that rarity/shard count you can surely do better than that!
That's only an opinion, haven't tried new setup obviously & it may end up completely different than that but sadly expectations aren't too high with those changes, he'll stay cool, rare... & Sadly a rare sight too..
Looking forward for other changes like repair of shields & new tallismans tho!

Vhe eddie is weak too without life and immortal talismans, they are just different animals.
NF, any chance of tuning the drop rates of talisman in the BNW gardens? Currently the drop rates are horrible and provide very little incentive to play the gardens.
Please consider doing this for the October tuning. Its got to be easy to accomplish, no? Just change some numbers in a table? :cool:
