Permadeath Indicator

There have been a few times recently when I've had (sometimes multiple) characters killed in PVP by an attack that has a *chance* of inflicting permadeath, but as the character is killed there wasn't time for an icon to appear - I then often gamble Pharaoh's resurrection to find that the one character I really wanted to revive was permadeathed and I could have used the turn to give my remaining characters invincibility or whatever...

Is there any way that a marker could be put down when characters die under permadeath? A small skull over where they were stood or something similar would be very useful.

great idea. let some sort of skull appear if the char died with permadeath for example...

Skull marker, gravestone (anyone still plays Worms?) etc...

i like the idea, too, because many attacks (Assassin COTD, 7th son eddie) inflict permadeath and kill the characters and i stood there "has it now triggered, or not". It would be also useful for some begginners with the permadeath mission, because most times in PVE it's one-hit-kill.

Thanks for the feedback. We do indeed have such a feature planned. It's a few updates away at the moment, but I understand it's a sorely needed piece of feedback that's missing atm.

Hell yeah. It would be awesome if it were like a fury cut scene. A skull Eddie swoops in and steals their soul or something crazy haha. Either way it should be obvious to us. I've wasted many attacks not realizing the toon I want to revive was permadeath'd.

I was thinking exactly this some days ago!! Very frustrating when you have to chose if resurrect or do something else if you don't know...
