Just got a death dog and try it out. It seems like every time I used the power move, the damage charge buff on death dog itself instantly disappeared just after the power move was done. The buff did apply on other toons, though...

A known bug, since about March of this year. Was supposed to be fixed in August update. Don't bold your breath on it. I've pointed it out several times and no fix.
