No Prayer For The Dying
I know, I know. It's a 'garbage album' but I fucking love it. It introduced me to dual lead guitars, tempo changes, gallops...I had been previously listening to The Offspring and AC/DC at the time. Oh, and I should mention that this was about 1999-2000. I went to Brave New World after No Prayer. Funny story: I was flipping through the BNW booklet looking at the pictures of the band and thought "who's the short haired idiot? That's not that same guy that's singing on No Prayer...wait a minute..."
I went on to listen to Maiden almost exclusively for the next seven years; much to the dismay of my friends.
