Haud Hogmanay! Lang may yer lum reek! This Eddie celebrates his way into battle with good portents for the new year of 2022! A variant of Clansman Eddie- recently awakened the year prior, this Eddie gets the updated abilities of the popular Eddie as well as a distinct new passive to celebrate the 'firsts' of the new year!

From now until January 10th at 4PM PDT, every non-Heroic and non-Talisman Rare, Epic, Legendary and Mythic Soul you open in the Book of Souls, regardless of where you earned it (Skull Quests, bought from Store, earned from Sacrifice, etc) will give you a guaranteed bonus of First-Footing Soul Fragments.

The First-Footing Soul is a limited time event soul which guarantees a 3★ to 5★ character of any class and an increased chance of summoning Clansman Eddie, Viking Eddie and Viking Invader Eddie. It also has an EXCLUSIVE chance of summoning 5★ Warrior Hogmanay Eddie.

First-Footing Soul Details!

Each First-Footing Soul summoned will also grant the following bonus rewards:
10 Hogmanay Eddie Soul Fragments
20 Talisman Gold Red Soul Fragments

500 Hogmanay Eddie Soul Fragments guarantees 1 5★ Warrior Hogmanay Eddie.

400 Talisman Gold Red Soul Fragments guarantees a Tier 1 to Tier 3 Gold or Red Cosmic Talisman and 5★ Gold Idol.

This event also features a number of challenges that reward additional First-Footing Fragments, various Souls, Ritualistic Scripts and more.

Ritualistic Scripts is the event currency of our Tides of Change event running until February 3rd.

I use my version of Deathbat's guide.

I don't want to degrade other people's work as clearly sometime in the past there has been much work put into the website, but it's terribly outdated, almost to the point of being useless with today's standards. I personally use the lotbhelper.com , when the compendium is down, it's also somewhat outdated but contains different world characters so at least it contains data from 2021 july/august and not from the stone age. I'm not sure who are maintaining these sites, and kudos for their work, alas the one you linked really stopped being taken care of ages now. Deathbat's guide is also not updated for like ~2 years now (March 2020). It's a pity, but understandable, that when people stop playing, they also stop taking care of these sites.

Cons: talisman souls excluded seems permanent, making this event gold exhaustive
Need to re strategize sacrifice event since hoarding talisman souls for b.o.s event isn’t possible

I'm using this event as an excuse to clear out all of those stacks of rare souls I've got in my inventory. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get the 10,000 currency needed on just them. Talisman souls will be used to pay for the gold required to burn the rares. :-)

Plus, we had a good reason to spend 54,000 sacrifice currency this month (two "Try 10 times and fail" characters and Ironite). So burning stacks of rares helps there since they tend to be around 1750 sac currency for two stacks of rares.
