Thanks! I've been avoiding the set list to be surprised. \m/

I really don't want to rub it in, but it was SO good! My expectations were sky high for the show and Helloween surpassed them. They played about 3 hours and Kiske can still bring it. Deris & the rest were real good too. They did a great job of alternating vocals and selecting songs from all over their history, even Kai stuff. The best non-Maiden show I have seen! Supposedly, they're going to keep united and record new music next year and tour again. I hope you're able to catch them then!
Power Trip last night was brilliant. Smallish venue (totally sold out and the 2nd gig tonight is sold out too). Vibe was brilliant. Sound/mix wasn't too bad either! ;)

For Helloween it will be the third time I've seen them for the "Pumkins United Tour" this year :)
It's probably the best concert I've seen in the last five years :o:D
Now that Metallica in San Francisco is behind me it will be Helloween I. Stockholm in December
Not a gig as such but going to see Bruce talk on stage tonight. :D
Dimmu borgir/Kreator beginning of december
Ghost february.
Not that much bands to see nowadays
Saw Helloween for the United Pumpkin and it was indeed great. would like to see them again.
My next show will be Ozzy in February next year at Nottingham. Probably the last chance I'll have to see him live so it should be one hell of a show.
The Who in July
A bit OT but yesterday i went to the Steve Hackett show here in Rome.
Great show and they played the entire Genesis' Selling England by the pound album \m/
Here is my list thus far for this year that I have tickets for in the Chicagoland area.

Megadeth
Saturday August 10th 2019
Iron Maiden
Thursday August 22nd 2019
Demons & Wizards
Wednesday August 28th 2019
Then I just noticed that slipknot is Sunday August 11th. The day after megadeth.
Got a Metallica concert coming up on 18th of July. Super hyped about finally seeing them live for the first time.
Ghost & Metallica on 11th June, Anthrax & Slayer on June 19th and Alice Cooper on 3rd September ;-)
Just went and saw Witchery/The Haunted/At the Gates... Was awesome, but ended up with no shoes left in the pit after the Haunted. And also too damn tired for ATG then, so couldnt do more than fist bang.... :/ Still was a great night, just felt sorry for Tomas that everyone was so tired for their set!
Next definite one is Eluveitie in two weeks...
But I am also after some advice:
Next weekend is Mothers Day in Australia. My wife (and mother of our children) isnt really into metal.
But there is a gig with Ne Obliviscaris, Caligulas Horse, Beyond Creation, Rivers of Nihil and Allegaeon!
Anyone seen any of these bands live that would suggest its worth copping the wrath of my wife?
I dig all of these bands albums, but never seen any live and Im not sure if itd be worth matrimonial disharmony.
Maiden in Brooklyn on Saturday! So pumped! Anyone else going to see them on this leg of the tour?
Saw Maiden in Atlanta on the 20th of July and the show was so amazing that I've already bought tickets to see the show in Toronto Canada on the 10th. I have a friend out there that I've been meaning to visit for years so it's a win / win!!
Awesome! I'm excited to see how their stage show ties in with the game. I'm sure the merchandise stand is gonna cost me. :D I haven't checked the set list because with Maiden, I like to be surprised. That's really cool that you're checking them out at a couple different venues.
Saw the LOTB show last night and it was excellent! Some really cool theatrical elements and they sounded great. In addition, the merchandise stand had the absolute best assortment of Maiden shirts I've ever seen on any tour (imo), so prepare accordingly. $ :D \m/
A couple of shows I'm looking at: Iggy Pop, Billy Joel, Roger Waters (if he decides to go on tour again), or maybe the Indianapolis Symphony. Saw Deep Purple on October 12th, and it was a fantastic show. Ian Gillian's still got it!
Seeing Deep Purple next week too. After that I don't have anything planned until Megadeth and FFDP in february. Looking forward to that one!
