I have six shields on my assassin and six burns on my warrior. Together they are known as "Turn & Burn". 8)

Fortunately my 10-pack of Christmas souls gave me my first Troll assassin which made it all better.

I was grinding like crazy to get my third Guard just a couple of days before they stopped dropping... Haven't found it that useful though. Duration is too short to help attacks that scale with DEF...

I've wondered this as well. Could it be the last time they earned you any badges? That could be different that just using your trooper.

Is anybody else dropping shield versions of the assassin talismans? I can't recall getting anything except the barrier varieties since at least the last update... maybe longer.

Short answer: yes. The real issue is: what's more important to you personally? The satisfaction of doing it by yourself or hording skill shards to eventually compete in PvP?

And your FotD Eddie, SoL Eddie, Undead Rescuer, and Possessed Mine Assassin all have skills that can block beneficial effects. Or you could silence them with your red Axis Bomber Boy... Lots of...
