For fire power i believe warrior lilith with echo talis is the best but to be honest i think she performs better if paired with beelzebub or any other toon that can inflict multiple burning effects...

What about your non-eddies and talis? I think that a team that attacks all enemies is best for the waves. I've used also warrior undead rescuer (for the block) with a lot of life, def/mr and shields...

9 event souls got me the witch doctor, magus chopper and shaman the bird. Also completed my demon spawn collection which may help me in future events

I got the ass demon spawn from the first anniversary soul i opened and because of that i was able to complete that challange. I think it's the best choice but maybe you can get it with gunner undead...
