New-ish, q’s about team and talismans

Trying to sort out a decent team, and still a bit confused about my team composition.

Currently running Doomsday Eddie and a varied combination of the following:
Prisoner
Corrupt rescuer warrior
Nomad
Witch doctor
Pharaoh
Child of damned

And then I can level up and use;
Bastion
Eda gunner
Pharaoh dog
Desert sniper
Mayan priestess assassin or magus

Then talismans, I have sets of:
Nightmare
Invisibility
Steel
Trap
Guardian
Void
Life
Force

Which should I dump, for starters? Which are worth keeping and leveling? What kind of goals should I set for myself, and what is the most optimal setup I have based on what I currently have collected?

Any input is welcome, I’m trying to compile all my info in one place right now.

What CotD do you have? I would highly recommend looking at the Character and Talisman Discussion pages respectively. I find them to be incredibly helpful when looking at which toons are beneficial, what talisman sets work best with different characters, etc. Also, check out the Guides and Tips page for suggestions and strategies when it comes to the various areas of gameplay, such as Cosmos, LoL, BNW and PvP. There is a treasure trove of knowledge in the forums. You just have to take the time to look around.
