Lightbringer Relics

I feel a bit stupid for asking, but how have players picked up the lightbringer relics. Been getting spanked by a few that have 100%.

There are 2 ways to acquire the lightbringer relics. You either could buy them last event or earn then in the arena event this week. They are not supposed to work in the arena, but they are appearing on opponents toon relic lists.

Somewhere it was posted that if the opponent has them your lightbringer relics should work, if you have any.
