Some get lucky some dont. The total amount of rewards is not what's important, but the amount per sacrifice that counts. For the average player they dont do dozens of tier VI andVII sacrifices giving multiple vortexs.

For me I've done about 4 vortexes and have gotten nothing new, but have gained at least 6 five star Eddies and several 4 star.

This event is so good, that you legit cant stop getting stuff, its legit infinite sacs, the droprate for ult hearts is insane. I got 4 mythicals, a mythical sentinel, a mythical magus, a full cyborg soul from 0. And yea

This event is as good as the 5 star eddie soul event.

I've only had one multiple vortex and I thought that was a game glitch!

Yeah I agree with the last two comments here, the longer you spend in sacrifice the more your likely to get what you are looking for, I am a little way off from claiming my third Alchemist, I have added approx 2400 ironite to my coffers, and my gold stash has stayed largely the same excepting for those three new characters I powered up.

I have not counted skill shards but have completed from start to finish 7 or 8 characters including the most expensive to fit with Skill shards of them all Rain Maker Eddie.
For me SS have not changed in drops really.. I like the idea of the frags after all, I think it is a good idea to have some self control (something I have always lacked in the past) and hold onto anything heroic and anything Mythical, unless it can give you an opportunity to nab that character you want now what's the point in using it up?

I am still throwing in rare, class rare and epic souls as well as the heart souls and the precious souls, this is keeping me going in sacrificing, I would be doing it right now but the maintenance is taking place...

Maintainence started at 1:30 your time. It should end in an hour...

This isn't scientific, and it will depend on what kinds of resources you have or don't have, but my rule of thumb is to level 4* and 5* hearts to the level 30-40 range and not level 3* hearts just because of the time it takes.

My focus is on maximizing the number of Heart Soul rewards, so Tier 5 is the sweet spot. Tier 1 is also better than Tiers 2 and 3 for Hearts, when I'm burning regular stacks.

Not sure about the best strategies for getting Ironite drops. I haven't paid close attention to that so far.
