    Segoy, I inherited this account from my uncle at the turn of the year. He accumulated a good amount of resources over that time. He played for about 11/2 years and seen the folly in the never ending chase, that's when I entered the chase. I have the toons/talis to be in the top 50-100 in arena and gauntlet, I just dont have the time or enthusiasm to compete.

    I really enjoy the game, but if you dont want to spend money or even more time you will slowly fall behind. They throw so many new toons/talis it's difficult to fully try them out. The arena is just a slugfest of new OPs, with never ending bugs that benefit the opponents. I can deal with the gauntlet problems, a lot fewer matches with a better mix of opponents.

    The scene they created for a grindathon to awaken characters put me at the precipitate of leaving.

    Exactly.

    If, at least, the music was better (edited). I mean - the themes and riffs are awesome (of course, coming from IM), but the overall music experience is horrible - loud bangs and change of music/style whenever you switch different "screen", initial "scream" at the beginning of the battle, etc. - I ended up running the game on silent (although I have the game running almost all day long due to grinds). It is just annoying - neverending loop of the same short samples. Now, if there was a longer/complex "soundtrack" that would play unchanged regardless of what you do on the screen (kind of as "Iron Maiden radio") - that would be an awesome thing!

But I opened the last 54 souls today and got only 4 or 5 (four or five) 4* characters. Out of these were two warrior Shardborns, the rest of the (total) given 4*s were 3* rubbish old characters.

    And this is one of the two core problems:

    a) These remaining 3* rubbish characters were primarily "the old ones" - those that are in game from the very beginning. I understand that you need to keep roster of old characters for the new players as well, but these could be easily summonable from the common "Rare" souls. The Event souls, on the other hand, should be of slightly higher value (not just considering that they even cost more Ironite in the Store, or are viable for real money). Therefore, they should consist of characters not older than e.g. 12 months. (3-*-5*).

    b) The other problem is that the list of summonable 3*-5* characters (available in the roster for the given Event soul) gets longer and longer with each event and thus we have less and less chance of summoning a new character. E.g. - 12 months ago I had a much higher chance of pulling out a highlighted (event) toon (it doesn't matter if it is 3*, 4* or 5*) than I have today. If compared to situation (available roster) two years ago (or even three years ago, with the launch of the game), the situation is even more visible. There were limited numbers of 3*, 4* and 5* characters available from Rare or Event souls.

    What good is it for us if we have double the chance (of almost nothing = nothing) to summon a 5* character, when there is already not a list of just e.g. three to five 5* characters, but instead, there are already 38 (!!!!) five stars characters, 100 four star characters (4*) and sixty 3* characters (current Striker soul roster) (if I counted it correctly on the small screen available). Even if we pull out a 5* character (the laws of average and probability seem not to work in players' favour here), there is a 71% (~27/38) chance that we will pull out a character that is more than 1 year old and most of us already have it. Should there not be the five brand new Football Eddies, the odds for a new 5* character would be even lower!

    This is simply not acceptable, as it means an open mockery and straight-out-laugh to our faces - constantly swinging the odds to the favor of the company in time. No, I am not speaking about hard-to-prove issues like broken AI in the Arena, talismans not working, shift to pay to play strategy, etc. - this is pure math that can be verified by all players and you, developers, too.

    Summary: Event souls should have limited roster of available characters (50% or less of today's numbers), they should consist only of "newer" characters and the inchreased chance of pulling out a 5* character should be 3-5% (I don't write that the chance should be trippled or quadrupled on purpose, as trippled or quadrupled zero is still zero).

    Besides, you got 75 event souls which = 750 needed frags for Dark Lilith.... right?
    You got the main toon plus sac materials, that's the way it's designed.

    Congrats on your new boss toon.

    If you got the main event toon, why are you upset and writing an email?

    Almost, but not quite true comparison - the casino slot machines are not programmed to constantly lower chance of winning (whatever low it already is) in time, what is the case of Rare/Event soul character roster.

    Yes, I did get the Lilith out of the frags - and I am happy to have her. But I am complaining on the rest of the mechanics - zero to none chance to pull 5* character and whatever character you pull out, it is the old one. I was just pointing out the shifting trend which might not have been visible in the first year, but now, having 3 years worth of characters in roster is essentially an inflation to the game.

    I believe it was worth mentioning.

    With EVERY new character released the odds of getting a 5 star character are decreased.

    I.E. you may have had a 1 in ~175 chance in September... in October you have a 1 in ~200 chance.

    Its a dirty tactic used by gaming companys. I now open my event souls and buy ten extras and stop there( with nothing) i think if they release a game changing char we should all get it through the grind

    The worst part it happens on LoL XV aswell with those Gunner onixs, making you lose a lot of time.

    As yup said maybe we need a cremate skill to fully kill someone, but I dont know how you would cremate a ghost. Wait until we have zombies and only head shots will kill them. So we may need a fury they delivers head shots then cremates the bodies.

    Good point. I feel/share your frustration.

    My comparison to a casino wasn't regarding "chance percentages".... it was comparing greedy, cheating, business practices, and preying on the hopes of others. I don't gamble.... it's a method setup to enrich one side and destroy the other.... kinda like banking.

    But you and others bring up a great point of the ever increasing pool of obsolete toons from which we have a fraction of a percent chance to get the "new latest and greatest."

    Or Navigator Frog could fix the bugs.... this "failed" Doom is not normal.

    But I like the TWD meets LotB concept! Good call!!!

    And maybe a Ghostbusters method of trapping ghosts in a box..... then your special move is to unleash them all on a foe.
