Hello Troopers and welcome to the weekly update.

We have a lot going on later today and tomorrow (keep an eye out on the Social pages and the Forum on Friday), so I will be keeping this short!

Clan Boss

The Art team has sent over some stuff for the Clan Boss who we will be seeing in a not-too-distant future. These are mock-ups, not screenshots from the game!



This is set to be the Clan Boss dungeon, where you and your Clan will work together to take down the boss for rewards.



There will be multiple levels of the Dungeon with varying rewards through each of them.

That’s all we have to share for now on Clans! But do not worry, there is more to come.

Caria, Women in Uniform

We have seen lots of discussion about the origins of our naming conventions for characters like Caria, which is awesome to see! We would love to talk about it.

Caria specifically is named after Artemisia I of Caria, an ancient Greek warrior Queen. You can look up more about her here! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artemisia_I_of_Caria

Just like all the great Operators, 007 and Maverick for example, military Callsigns and Codenames make things way cooler. Caria and her upcoming Women In Uniform (hint), all get Codenames to make them sound way more badass.

Maybe a points system? Each member who beats it gets points. The points cumulate times number of clan members. After certain number of points, boss is beat?

Yep, it would be completely out of character to provide any help or insight.

As long as it doesn't depend on actually being online at the same time as other people in your clan - I guess that would limit us slightly to clan with people in the same time zone or people with a similar work/life balance.

THIS!!!! This is my biggest concern with the whole Clan concept. We NEED to be able to each individually contribute to the end goal on our own time schedule. This ABSOLUTELY must be at the core of the concept of clan competition. If you expect to get 30, or even 10 people from the same clan online at the same time with the capabilities to work together toward a goal for a set amount of time.... you might as well scrap the entire clan concept right now and save everyone the time and aggravation.

Also, getting x number of people online at the same time who don't then experience server connection issues might be an additional logistical challenge...
