iirc, it's 1000 arena battles to get the max reward from the arena event. Which, if you assume 1 battle/minute, is some 15 hours just of Arena, or like 3 hours a day for the 5 days of the event. Just pressing the "battle" button manually.

Yeah, the time demands of this game that are required to not miss out on exclusive items are tremendously out of hand. Discouraging, demoralizing, and joy-killing.

Recent holiday events were the worst with the pure RNG and extremely low odds.
The time demands for events have been disconcerting for a while, but at least these have a definitive possible outcome. Do this X times and you will get this. Unfortunately lately it's become X raised to the x power.

It is difficult for game developers to find a balance between casual gamers who want to feel like they are making accomplishments in a game environment and power gamers who constantly demand more and greater challenges to remain engaged. That problem is not exclusive to this particular game. How do you keep the masses engaged and still provide enough of a draw to keep the power gamers playing?

SPECIAL EVENT ADDITIONS:
Trade extra event currency or Common Souls for additional rewards in the Event Store!

Where are these magical rewards?
There is nothing in the event store to exchange for common souls.

After spending the time to look through every store page, I found ultimate sacrifice hearts available for 300 common souls, but that's it.
If anything, that would be part of the new style sacrifice event.

So again, where are these "additional rewards"?

Should have added exchanges for rare souls too, since, ya know, this is a LoL event with :

3x chance of dropping Rare Souls!
