    Question for the devs: I was just reading over Different World Eddie's passive. It says "when this is the only different world character, gain the following effects." Does this mean that when paired with presumably later releasing different world characters, his passive does nothing? Or does he just not gain the first two bullet points of the passive when paired with another? Just trying to understand what's going on here.

    Not a dev, just a (increasingly less so because of the game bineg a mess) player, but it might:

    a) Mean you shouldn't pair these toons, an inverse of many toons/talis that get extra if paired.
    b) Get changed to another passive/effect later on (moonkiddos got reworked).
    c) Corresponding cosmic could only work if paired, and offer a "Different" (eugh) enough playstyle to fit the theme.

    Still, "Remove all but 1 of each type of beneficial and negative effect, including Golden and Silver effects, and all but 1 random permanent Stat Increase, from all characters at the start of each team’s turn." seems more like a negative, so we are just seeing a new subset of toons without having to come up with a new icon (Cosmics just being a random color with +advantage against everything was already lazy, but this is a new low).

    Ya gotta read the whole thing man!!

    As long as this is the only Different World named character on your team gain the following effects:
    - Remove all but 1 of each type of beneficial and negative effect, including Golden and Silver effects, and all but 1 random permanent Stat Increase, from all characters at the start of each team’s turn.
    - Gain immunity from all negative effects, including Silver effects for the duration of the battle at the start of the battle and at the start of your turn.
    - Remove all permanent Stat Decreases from each ally with Cyclone Shield at the start of your turn.
    - For each differently named beneficial effect, including Golden effects, on self, deal a hit of true damage to a random enemy after every action.
    - For each differently named negative effect, including Silver effects, on each other ally, heal that ally by 10% of their MISSING HP after every action.
    - Whenever you take damage, inflict a random negative effect, including Silver effects, for 3 turns on all enemies and grant Cyclone Shield for 3 turns on all allies.
