I just used all the talisman soul fragments of varying levels to obtain what were always 5* Gold Idols in the past and all of them, even the Mythic, are now only dropping 1* gold idols!!!
It's going to take forever to save up enough gold just to awaken 1 character at this rate!!
Please tell me this is an error and not an intended permanent change!

You still get 1M gold per talisman soul. They switched to the cheaper idol but give you the remainder of the gold outright when you turn the soul in.
