From now until March 26th at 5PM PDT, every non-Heroic and non-Talisman Rare, Epic, Legendary and Mythic Soul you open in the Book of Souls, regardless of where you earned it (Skull Quests, bought from Store, earned from Sacrifice, etc) will give you a guaranteed bonus of Marks of the Beast Currency.

This event also features a number of challenges that reward additional Marks of the Beast Currency, various Awakening Shards, Chaos Orbs and more.

Marks of the Beast Currency can be traded in store for The Beast himself, Cosmic Upgrade Packs, and new Cosmic Saga: Number of the Beast Talisman!

The Cosmic Saga Number of the Beast Talisman has the following effects:

Effects activate only on Number of the Beast characters, including:
• Viking Eddie, Viking Invader Eddie, Ragnar, Winter’s Guardian Ragnar, Valhalla Maidens, Children of the Damned, The Prisoner, Charlotte, Summer Ride Charlotte, Number of the Beast Eddie, The Beast, Happy Holibeast, Run to the Hills Eddie, Gangland Eddie and Hallowed Eddie.

This Talisman increases stats in battle, and reduces incoming damage. Its wearers will also gain the following effects:

For each other alive Number of the Beast character with a Saga: NotB talisman, remove a random Burn Effect from self, dealing a hit of true damage to all enemies, then inflict a random Burn Effect for 2 turns on all enemies at the start of your turn.
• T1: Inflict self with Furious Burn for 6 turns and gain an Extra Turn after an action, once per turn.
• T2: Inflict Innate Heal Block for 1 turn on each enemy with Curse after an action, once per turn. If they don’t have Curse, inflict Curse for the duration of the battle on that enemy.
• T3: Remove Ghost Effects, Punishment and Permadeath Effects from all enemies after an action, once per turn. Inflict Doom for 1 turn on that enemy and revive an ally up to 25% HP for each enemy affected this way.

Chaos Orbs is the event currency of our Ultimate Apocalypse event running until March 31st.
