The Purge (Dungeon) - Battle in our Within Temptation Themed Dungeon

We’re teaming up with Dutch symphonic metal band Within Temptation for an awesome in-game collaboration.

Introducing Genesis! A bio-synthetic marvel born of forgotten technologies, Genesis disrupts enemy teams while protecting her team from negative effects. The design for this character was inspired by the cover art of the Within Temptation single, “Shed my Skin.”

You can earn Genesis for free just by logging in! Log in any 7 days between September 19th to October 18th to earn awesome rewards including Genesis herself on the 7th day!

You can get a look at Genesis in action during the Purge dungeon event. Available until September 26th this dungeon was inspired by Within Temptation’s 2020 single of the same name. The event story line is also inspired by the lyrics, themes and imagery of the Iron Maiden track ‘Different World’, as well as the 2006 music video. Different World Eddie leads Genesis into battle against the Different World Machine God who is hell bent on assimilating any lifeform that refuses to conform to his world view.

The first time you complete Normal, Hard or Madness, you will earn set rewards including:

Discordance Souls
Archer (Shield) Talismans

Your first Insanity run will grant a Catalyst Soul,3★ T3 Evo Runes, and Talisman Epic Gold Red Soul Fragments.

All subsequent victories are guaranteed to provide:

Discordance Soul Fragments
Dungeon Fragments
A chance of up to 2 bonus rewards, including: Wrathful Talismans (Shield Subtype).

Completing Event Challenges will grant various other rewards, including more Discordance Soul Fragments, a SACRO Robo Scout, Aquarius Talismans (Shield Subtype) and Wild Artifacts!

Discordance Soul Fragments can either be claimed as Souls or traded in-store for rewards such as Cosmic Storm Herald Talismans, various Heroic Souls and Different World Eddie!

Discordance Soul Details!

The Discordance Soul is a limited time event soul which guarantees a 3★ to 5★ character of any class. This soul has an increased chance of summoning Different World themed characters.

Each Discordance Soul summoned will also grant the following bonus rewards:
10 Different World Eddie Soul Fragments
20 Talisman Gold Red Soul Fragments

750 Different World Eddie Soul Fragments guarantees 1 5★ Magus Different World Eddie.

400 Talisman Gold Red Soul Fragments guarantees a Tier 1 to Tier 3 Gold or Red Cosmic Talisman and 5★ Gold Idol.

• Get the ‘The Number of the Beast Eddie Starter Pack’ to add a powerful Warrior to your team. This pack includes Number of the Beast Eddie himself, along with materials to fully level him up.

Dungeon Fragment Details:

Dungeon Fragments will drop in event Dungeons. Use Dungeon Fragments to purchase items found within the Event Store Tab. You can continue collecting and building your stockpiles of Dungeon Fragments with each Dungeon event.

Please note that the items available for Dungeon Fragments disappear between dungeon events. They will reappear again with the same items available the next time a dungeon event is held.

Since these Fragments are meant to be spent in store, they cannot be converted to Precious Soul Fragments and will ‘loop’ if you claim a Dungeon Soul (if claimed, a Dungeon Soul will simply produce 1000 Dungeon Fragments, and 1 1★ Gold Idol, thus returning the fragments used to create it, and the Gold spent to summon it).
