I hate to say it, but 'Arry usually gets his ideas from books or movies (I'm sure these days, tv shows fall under that category). Back in the 80s, Derek Riggs used to take the bands input and put enough of a twist on it to turn it into something more original... but who knows how it works these days. I have no idea what came out first - I wonder what the airdate is for that episode vs. the release of the Speed of Light video... That would be a dead giveaway.

...on another note: Anyone watch "Ash vs. The Evil Dead"? [on STARZ] That show is amazing/hysterical (especially if you're a Sam Rami / Evil Dead fan). The show is exactly what it needed to be. They picked up right where Army of Darkness left off and Bruce Campbell has perfectly evolved the character of Ash to modern day. I couldn't have been happier with it.
