Iron Maiden was just mentioned on the new MacGyver show.

George Eads' character was singing Mother Russia and playing air guitar. I thought it was funny.

lol--Interesting! I caught the first episode of that one... wouldn't have picked it for a Maiden shout out.

I just kind of had it on for background noise while playing the game. The show is ok but didn't seem as interesting as the original.

Funny thing was, some ex-Russian scientists were talking about where they needed to go to fix a problem. At that moment Mother Russia started playing in my head. Then the guy actually started singing it...

Needless to say I started busting out laughing. Then everyone started staring at him. His next line was, "What? It's a classic Iron Maiden song!"

At the end of the episode, the new MacGyver character said, "By the way, you butchered Iron Maiden." It's a pretty light hearted reboot.

It definitely is lighthearted! I have no plans to keep watching it, but I was curious about the first one. It's alright though.
