Rocket Dog Passive Skill Question

Got a question about Blood Thirst (Passive Skill) which grants Lifesteal status to all allies at the start of the battle. Lifesteal causes physical attacks to heal you for 60% of the damage dealt. (The effect last for two turns)

I thought it was a fantastic passive skill but it does not seems to work 100%.

For example, when teamed up with my Cyborg Eddie & (Green) Soulless Demon:

Cyborg Eddie: Lifesteal works on primary attacks only, does not work with Special & Dead Eye
Soulless Demon: never work at all (Soulless Demon's attack all enemies with added effect Taunt and Talisman added effect Stun)

Therefore, I will like to find out if this is a bug or conditional effect?

Should work on any ability that does Physical damage. If it doesn't, then yeah, it's probably a bug.
