Christmassy Songs to Frighten and Amaze!

A place to share seasonal tunes that you're just not gonna hear at the mall (unless the malls where you live are a lot cooler than the ones here).

I'll start us off with my favourite version of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen... this is the only way to carol it!

Love that album. First one we spun this season.

Also love this version of that song, by Luna Mortis.

I enjoy all of Theocracy's stuff, especially their Christmas stuff.

Not a fan of the band, but really like the Christmas stuff from August Burns Red.

Of course it wouldn't be complete without Savatage/TSO!

Yeah, that tune's one of my first spins every year, personally. I'd never heard the Luna Mortis and Theocracy you posted... really dug the Theocracy! The LM was cool too, but lyrics definitely always kick things up another notch, for me. I gather you program music... internet radio station, is it?

I had not heard either of these songs before, so thanks for that, my good man! A little easier to imagine these playing in a mall (or, in the case of the Tull one, in the mall's elevator ) than the Dio tune, but that doesn't take anything away from them. Of the two, I like the Joy Unlimited one a bit better, as I dig their experimental vibe.

    Next up: good ol' Lemmy...

Nah, that was the first album we spun in our family's living room while we put up decorations.

Haven't encountered all that many new, cool, metal Christmassy things this year, but I did find this one that I thought I'd share.

And, while I'm at it: Merry Christmas and happy holidays to my Troopers, the Mofos, the Developers, and all of the cool folks I have met here since this mad journey of a game began. Up the Irons! \m/ \m/

For anyone who digs the metal Xmas tunes and hasn't heard of it, check out Celestial by Rob Halford. I dig it!
