Corrupt droid sentinel wrong kind of damage

The descrption of his basic skill says physical damage, but it looks that is doing true damage because of the white numbers when its used. Or the type of damage is wrong or the description of the skill is wrong.

I think it was Flying V who predicted in another thread this guy would be a sleeping giant. Combine great damage with his defensive shield and it's looking like he's right!
