Summoning souls - choose character

What if we got to choose from 2-3 random characters when summoning a soul? It should be either only when the eyes go red, or only from rare and legendary souls (or even just from legendary souls). It is really frustrating to summon yet another duplicate from your hard earned legendary soul, or getting your hopes up for a split second when you see the eyes go red when summoning a rare soul only to find out it was yet another dupe.

Getting to choose from two or three different characters would mitigate some of the duplicate pulls and would also introduce some interesting choices, specially for non-end game players who may have to choose between several characters that they don't have. It would also make those special souls (like the christmas souls) more interesting to invest in, thus creating more incitement for players to spend money on the game.

The devs think they're clever when they rip everyone off and then cry when nobody buys anything any more.
