Game Update - April 19th, 2017 + Shaman Eddie!

Shaman Eddie helps kick off the 2017 side of the Book of Souls Tour!

New Character: Shaman Eddie!

Shaman Eddie is the newest aspect of Eddie to join the fray! He will confound his enemies with a wide variety of negative status effects that increase the damage his enemies take. Shaman Eddie inflicts both physical and magical damage, thus allowing him to be built to crush weak Defenses or weak MR!

Shaman Eddie is a 5 star Warrior available now in all appropriate souls, including a limited time Sacrificial Soul that is available in the Store. Check out more on Shaman Eddie in his Character Discussions forum post.

Book of Souls Tour Changes

In conjunction with the 2017 Book of Souls World Tour, Shaman Eddie has influenced the game!

• All Arena battles are now taking place atop a Mayan step pyramid!
• For a limited time, Sacrificial Souls are a possible reward from the Sacrifice feature!

The Arena change is purely cosmetic, and will stay as the setting for all Arena battles for the coming months. The Sacrifice feature adjustment is only for a limited time; see the Sacrificial Soul Event thread for more info.

PVP Changes

• Corrected an issue with the matchmaking algorithm that was favouring a ratio of defense:attack instead of attack:defense

Bug Fixes and Improvements

• Upon starting the game as a returning player, you will immediately go to the Cosmos after the game finishes loading (instead of needing to press the start button)
• Fixed an issue where certain popups that take you to the store would take you to a tab that doesn’t have the thing you’re looking for
• Fixed an issue where Immunity talismans would not always protect the wearer from the Prisoner’s passive
• Fixed an issue where certain passives would not function correctly when fighting against the Prisoner
• Fixed an issue where Counter and Revenge would not always function when the kickers for them show up
