Sacrificial bug

I just sacrificed round about 600 essence and got 3 legendary souls and 3 skill shards from it 😳 First thought I was dreaming, but reward really is in my inventory. Anybody else had this bug? Thought this would become a real bad day playing (game crashed at first battle, sorry Nick!), but now I think I'm really in luck. Why can't every bug be like this! 😄

No, just made a meager sacrifice

Well, there's no way it wasn't a vortex fill....no other way to get such rewards. Even the smallest sacrifices add up and eventually fill the vortex one day

my friend got a ledgendary soul + 4 Rare gun assassin souls. FROM A STRONG SACRIFICE. his vortex also wasn't full lol (also he's new to the game, so a filled vortex would be impossible for him anyway)

Didn't know it's added. Thought you have to reach full vortex with one sacrifice.

had something weird the other day, did a meager sacrifice, hit back to go back to "my troopers", pit just went funny all on its own and dropped 4 skill shards 1 rare & 3 rare gun/assassin souls, i wonder if i get that bug again

Sheesh making me wanna throw in some souls to see if I'm lucky. I've had somewhat of the same deal. I'd throw in a bunch of 1 and 2 star toons and I actually ended up with multiple rare souls consecutively. Seems like it's either luck or you just hit that one spot enough times and you'll get things better than what is normal.

You probably needed a small amount of essence to fill the vortex. You get this bonus after the purple ring completes the circle. It takes a massive amount of essence and accumulates over time. You don't have to have an ultimate sacrifice to get this, in fact I just did an ultimate sacrifice yesterday and it didn't even completely fill the vortex. I had to throw a couple more 4 stars in to finish filling it.
