Sacrafice Reward Breakpoints

I'd like to try to get a concise list of essence requirements for each of the tiers, and I figure the best way to go about it is crowdsourcing the values.

If you could post the amount of essence you sacrificed and how many rewards you got, we might be able to get enough to start a chart. I'm willing to bet that the determining amount is a function vs hard-coded arbitrary amounts, but we won't be able to determine that until we get enough examples.

I don't have any values at this moment, but in my experience it's as simple as doubling/tripling the lowest number of that sacrifice tier. For example, if tier 1 starts at 100, you'll get 1 reward at 100, 2 rewards at 200, 3 rewards at 300, and so on until you hit the next tier. Tier 2 would get you 1 reward at 500, 2 rewards at 1,000, 3 rewards at 1,500. Extrapolate that out and you have you reward breakdown.

Yes, I saw that thread, but the generic response was "triple the minimum", and that doesn't hold past tier 2, and i'm looking for some more concrete numbers.

That only works for the first two tiers though - the next tiers are not as clear, since doubling or tripling the minimum would take you into the next tier.

Exactly, and I asked the same in that thread. I'm with you, would be nice to know the exact numbers for higher tiers.

Cool idea. Is it confirmed that more Essence in a Tier definitely gives extra rewards? I'm inclined to think the amount of rewards you receive is RNG-related. Feel free to correct me on this though.

It is confirmed for tiers 1-2. Beyond that is the question.

I just sacrificed 300 even and got a single reward*. 303 has given me 3 rewards every time. The only difference I can see is that for 303
I'm doing 10 chars each time, but the 300 I did not.

I also did a Tier VI sacrifice for 24425 essence, 10 chars. I got one reward. Thankfully it was 20 G/A souls...7 of which were desert golems. ffs

*edit: I'm pretty sure I screwed that up and only had 200 essence or something.

This happens all too often with any type of soul definitely needs improvement.

Weird. 300 always gives me 3 rewards. I verified it again this morning. 300 essence exactly gave 3 rewards. Number of toons sacrificed hasn't changed that from my experience.
